I'm in my first grow as well. I didn't know a thing about growing until I decided to germinate seeds from a bud I was smoking. So, I came here, read read read, then did some reading and then read a little more. Then I started making questions and asking people's advice. By the way I haven't spent a shitload of money. Everyone was willing to help me and give me suggestions and advice on how to grow a healthy plant!!

ah whatever we can always use crappy weed! Sell it to the high schoolers they can never tell the difference. trust me as bad as GP420 is doing (or has done, and experience is mainly based on failure no offense) there are ppl doing it worse out there with more riding on it! Now THOSE are the ppl we should be laughing at (and the ppl smoking their weed)

hey gp420. those question where answered twice. once by me. but again you dont follow the advice or even read what is offered. man people are bending over backwards to help you.
and for you padlouk. your the one coming in here a spitting vial everywhere. read the whole thread from beginning . this kid came in and stated his situations, space, lights, available funds. and with in the couple of post he had people telling him what option where in front of him. no one discouraged him at all, because of his limited funds or environment. as a matter of fact, people was telling him what to do with what he was already working with. in fact they where trying to talk him out of things that where going to waste his time and money. i even told him if he didnt want to start over now, to at least start reading, even gave him links. then he follows that with a question like.
"can male plants bud? i heard that they can bud but the smoke is bad because it has alot of seeds, is this true or not thankyou"
i mean come on man. no one started pissing with him till he proved to be a complete idiot. i have seen on this site, elite growers giving info to people who are growing with the bare essentials. grows that in the begging i laughed about. then i realized, you have to start somewhere. i and folks starting with bare essentials, shit in a grow or 2 they be so addicted to this experience that like me they will only want to improve. the way i see it the more people doing this now. the shorter the time will be when i wont have to grow in a closet, and post on a web site anonymously because i am doing something that is illegal in the eyes of the law. but fools like this are some of the reason why i believe its still illegal. not because of his growing ability, but because he has absolutely no common sense. he reminds me of that cop who took a stash home that he confiscated and baked it in brownies, and when he got high freaked out and call the police to day he was scared cause he though he was dieing. (l will try to find and post the recording next post) or the idiot who wrecks his car and tell the cop it was the pot. or the idoit who check into rehab for a pot addiction. idiots dont need pot to be idiots.
now tell me padlouk what have you contributed to this thread beside running your mouth and name calling to those who are actually trying to help. in my opinion you sir fit right into the same class as grow420. but i am sure there are many on this site that will be will to teach you to pull your head out of your ass. well if you try real hard and follow advice.

you said you have $200. i bought these t5s for $138 at a local indoor garden store. i saw some at home depot that you had to wire your self for $25 a 2 bulb strip.
this plant was vegged under the t5s this would be after the first week of veg. it went about 12 days before i had nice roots. so i guess it would be 19 days old. week 1 veg

these light are all you really need. i have seen grows where they vegged 1-2 weeks then flowered under these light and produced ok yields. these light produce almost no heat. i can have my plant touching the bulbs with no burn.
now for the rest of my shit. nothing great. hell i dont even know if its right. so far i been able to produce this.
so i think i am on the right track.
i won the ghetto lottery (income tax return) so i set a side $300 for this system. remember i thought i had researcher my ass off. i priced things out. i new what system i wanted to use. i even drew up blue prints as to how it would be set up. well $300 dollars turn into $600 and a bunch of angry looks from my wife when i come in the door with something new. the blue print was to be in a shower, shit lasted about 2 week. said fuck the shower i built a wall and took 2/3 the bathroom. i have changed everything 5 times. most of this is due to my A.D.D. lol really like i said man once i started i was addicted. keep reading keep thinking of better way of doing it. damn near every bit of my grow is just a imitation of all the journals i have read he on RIU. my point is that there is no one way to do this. there are better ways. your process is no where on the charts. and thats what everybody has been telling you. listen to them. fuck tell them you dont have a penny, and some of these guys started with nothing and worked up. they have been there man.

then i veg. the first time around i vegged under the 1000w for 5 weeks. put them in flower and in 2 weeks i was outgrowing my space. 3 where male so there dead and space problem gone. now i am going to only veg for 2 weeks keep them small. i am going to set up a revolving harvest with 8 plants 2 weeks apart. so i will be cut buds every 2 weeks.
you grow in soil. i though i would have problems with bugs and with controlling PH. so i went hydro. O you thought hydro was good bud. yea me to. no its just the process in which you grow. i started out with that pump you saw before in a reservoir attach to line feed the plants like this.
did not like it so i tried this. DWC 
deep water culture. it has two air strips for aquariums attached to a air pump in the bottom of reservoir. the water level is right up to the roots. but guess what i did not like that because the roots did not seems to grow. they looked like this and from reading everybody else's journals they had huge roots compared to mine. then i remembered the cloner. it producing roots so i got some more tubs and used the same idea from the cloner for the DWC. and my roots looked like this 
5 days later they looked like this 
but then the plants got to fucking big and they where trapped 2 in one tub. i started thinking of you soil growers. i like how pots can be moved around. no crowding each other. so i put the pump and air stone in 5 gallon buckets 
so this is where i am today.
this plant should be ready soon. but first this is what it looked like when ii took it from a friend

ok now your going to say "i can save mine" NO you have what -3 watts i had 1000w hps. thats would be like try to cut a tree down with a butter knife. worst would be if somebody was try to hand you a chainsaw and you say no i can do it. does this sound familiar. come on dont get pissed. i am just playin.
remember the 3 male i killed, here is the only one that survived.

those t5s measure 25"L X 19"w X 2"d. fit in a closet easy. probably could grow two plants if you keep them real small. thats a newbie opinion though.
here what i keep mine in.
i think i will take one of the clones of bagseed at start pulling it out for 12hrs of dark. and see what kind of buds the t5s will produce.

nebu- i'd fuckin kill you, u dont know me, u do not know what im bout, u do not know what ive moved, or how much of the magical plant i have seen and had!!!!! so suck my balls, everyone else, i am going to read all of ur links, just give me time..its alot of reding ya digg lol? but here, i have changed my lighting system i have a 32 watt cfl with 2150 lumens over my babi plant, huge improvement, my biggest plqant is the shit under its 42 watt cfl at 2900 lumen and i still have the retard under a 13 watter but hes okay, look i want to buy a aerogarden, can i get buds while growing with a regular normal aerogarden, i mean wtf it can grow other plants why not "Green" well here, here are the before and after pictures haters suck on it!!!!!

lol man its just i really try hard on these things and i try to beter them the most i can and i do like them and i respect the plant i respect its uses i wish i could grow like a professional but honestly im not as u can tell, im still trying to grow my green thumb lol, but what do u mean stringy is toast, thats its gonna die, if thats what u mean what can i do to change this ive already got it under 2900 lumens, the 14th i will have my money i saw a aero garden and i want to purchase it but i here alot of bad talk about the aerogarden on this sight. i hear they dont work. do they? dude i grow in a really small tight place so hps lights are just so big and bulky understood, i want one, shyt when i have my own place im gonna have a hella set up but until then i would like to ave a aerogarden cuz its so small and conveinent... im trying to have a positive outlook on my plants lives i try to look at how much better their doing compared to them selves not everyone else...i like to note progress
