if you want my advice just take a stroll through my journal and check out my updates. i put all the details of my grow in my thread.
if you want to just go with a bag of soil i suggest Fox farm's Light warrior for seedlings and then upgrade to either fox farm ocean forest or fox farm happy frog potting soils, you will want to pick up a good sized bag of Organic perilite( i say organic because it is plain jane perilite nothing added) the MG perilte seemed too hot for my last batch of plants so i wont recomend it, others may have had good sucess with it i did not.
as far as nutrients go it depends wether you want to go chemical or organic, cheap or expensive.
alot of people swear by the fox farm trio which will give you detailed directions how to dose througout your grow, i have never used them before so i have no opinion on them.
if your going to go organic its not a bad idea to brew up a worm casting tea ahead of time and treat your soil with it prior to planting this way your microbiology is established and you have some nice rich soil. i am doing my first attempt at organic growing this round so i by far do not have all the answers and really cannot say what is good and what is bad.
if you want to see how im making out then stroll through my journal and see what im doing , that really all i have to offer man, i am by far a expert grower and really dont like giving advice on every detail of a grow as i dont really know myself.
like i said above i suggest grabbing up some bagseeds and giving it a go around with them before you place a order to a seedbank, your first grow your going to run into problems and thats a good thing as it will give you some experience on all the different aspects of a full grow that no one on here can offer (pretty hard to give someone experience through a forum thread)
im here for the ride and will be more than happy to lend my advice/experience/opinions but they are just that, they are MY experiences/advice/opinions
lets get some dirt and a grow journal started, also some pics of your setup and what you plan on doing. im sure there are other members of RIU that will come by to lend a hand as well.
