400w in a tent, Ultimate ScROG and perpetual SoG

LOL yeah sounds about right, i had the shit growing about 10 ft out of my garden and they were all climbing up each other. shame i didnt get any decent pics. it was a good lesson to learn though i will only be planting 1 seed of each this year. i still have butternut squash from my grow, that shit lasts forever but no one in my house will eat it it is about to become worm food lol

Hi Matt. Was checkin out your journal and saw your Butternut Squash dilemma. I dont know how you prepare it but if you kinda chunk it up in med. sized pieces without the rhind and drizzle some melted butter over it then sprinkle some brown sugar and cinnamon onto it, cover with foil and bake til tender the smell of it baking alone should get everyone in the house wanting to try it. Mom got my sis and I to eat it that way when we were young and weve eaten it like that ever since. If ya havent tried it yet, it might be worth it. cheers.

haha yeah first time i tried to do the mashed version similar to mashed potatoes just with brown sugar added. they were good just no one really cared for texture. i wanted to try the way you described but the dog ate the remaining ones when we went away for the night (she musta been really mad)

Alright guys hers the update. i have fungus gnats made a sticky paper thing and put it in there, not catching any so seems like now would be a good time to get them mantis's !! haha super good excuse.

everything is doing great, i have 2 new additions to the room, the blueberry gum and another auto called Micromachine??

im thinking in a week my bagseed plants are goingto be ready for flower but i may have to continue vegging for a bit longer than anticipated as my ballast seems to be making a humming noise and im going to exchange it. the MH bulb didnt work when i plugged it in and now its making this noise, cheap chinese crap WTF!!! anyways will be contacting amazon tomorow and sending it back. going to hook up the CLF rig untill my new system arives, this sucks!!

i fed with one watering of tea about 4 days ago they seem like they should be set on water for another week if not more, ill probally brew up anothe batch of tea before i switch everything around next week (if i switch i may not have the lighting to run 2 cabs...dam guess ill have to vegg out a bit longer..more buds for mee )

I dont quite buy thier story. they claim that they dont backup verry often due to security reasons, they dont want the files traveling over the internet too often. sure sounds good but theres no reason they can backup the files to another server on a intranet network (a network that is only shared among the company's files and is not hooked up to the internet)

i dunno i just dont buy it

they should be doing 1 big backup every week or at least keeping a solid backup and adding anything that wasnt backed up before to it every week (less data to write)

i think i may be done with this site, the shit that has been going on lately has been a bit sketchy and now they accidently lost a months worth of data?!?!?! this is basic shit when you run a server never mind one as big as RIU.

also did any of you notice that RIU stopped advertising for the attitude seed bank and now is advertising for credit card companys? i think they are selling out!!​

A lot of folk are getting nancy cos the v-bullletin sites were hacked on Thursday, this site included and the last back-up available to admin was end of February so comments and pictures got lost. Im sure people will get over it and move on. I see it as no big deal.

It's no big deal if you havent been using the site to cataloge your grow and havent invested alot of time on this site.

However, If you spent alot of time here and lost alot then you have every right to be upset and leave if you want.

To dismiss this as some that "people will get over" eventually is just plain short sighted.

Obviously people have left. They may return, they may not.

I will tell you one thing though, Not having a backup from anything more recent than Feb 20th is just fucking nonsense. And anyone that says differently has their head firmly planted up their ass.

Hey Matt, they're (admin) hiding something. i questioned things yesterday and got a real lame answer. When I aired my skepticism, the thread was closed.
