To win. You are correct in that the message is important. It's not enough to be on one side of an issue. It is the reason for being on that side that matter imo.

first you say no he does not want campaign money..then you say he wants it to win. Please make up your mind.. Did he return any money that is donated after his loss ( 2008 ). Will he return monies this time seeing how he will lose ( again ) ??? Why does he not just say fuck running and just buy advertisements to get his message heard...? Might be a lot cheaper and won't break as many hearts..

He is a member of the GOP AND has said many times it is too hard to get on the ballot as a third candidate.
I don't think you listen to him very much. Quit listening to what people SAY he says. He has mentioned often, people want him to run and as long as he has their support he'll stay in it.

The money belongs to his campaign. The main difference is that he probably wont run again so he wont use any of that money for his future campaigns. Have you figured out yet what he did with the money from his last campaign? Have a look see at what actually happens to campaign money then once you are informed you can talk about it in an intelligent way. Otherwise you'll continue to sound like a moron.

Because he's in it to win. Comprehend much? Why take your advice on politics. You're wrong too often. You never saw the economic disaster coming. You never saw 9/11 coming. You thought the polices would bring down unemployment. You thought the economy would recover by now. Ron Paul saw correctly on all these and gave us the correct reasons why. That's why I listen to him and not a failure like you and your candidate.

the thing that bothers me is there are intelligent people here, uncle bucks not one, who refuse to see what they back has failed often. Instead of looking for the right answer they are trying hard to be right.
I got one thing going for me in that I wasn't involved in politics and knew very little until 2007. I wasn't brainwashed. Plus I forgot a lot in school. I took shortcuts and made good grades as I tested well but didnt learn.
I'd be willing to bet if londonfog and I were given the same book to read and the same time to read it, he'd remember more than I would and would finish quicker.

The difference is knowing how to solve problems. Too many treat symptoms instead of the cause. Are you going to listen to doctors arguing over which medicine to give your kid for a cold since he goes outside without his coat or are you going to make the kid wear a coat? Treat the cause, quit treating symptoms.

Quit using facts, logic, and reason. According to some, just because someone is consistent doesn't mean he'll keep doing the same thing. Which of course doesn't make sense but that wont stop them. I really dont blame in that politicians/people lie often and even if Ron Paul were elected you'd still have to fight for your rights. Enough try to take something from someone.

Most of us are in agreement in that we have many problems in America and changes need to be made. The difference is in the policies. It's always about policy.

so my understanding is Ron Paul uses donation money on a campaign that he knows has no way in hell of achieving the goal as POTUS...He has no chance of running Independent because he cannot generate enough excitement to run as such. If his message is so powerful why is this ???
