Hey Dozer do you ever go fishing up at Wyman lake area? when i had my boat i used to love going up there and hitting the falls for lucnh and bake. we caught a 11 inch trout right off the boat landing one day right before we got hit with some rain and had to leave. really want to make it back up there this year, i hear there are some monsters right up by the dam and it gets over 100 ft deep

Just read up on it. Your right some nice fish up that way. A little far for me. 3 hours. My family has a camp up by Bangor mostly salmon and splake. No bass, or perch, a couple pickerel. It's really cold water even in the summer. Don't have the time to get up there very often. If i'm ever up that way i'll try Wyman lake thanks for the tip.

these were caught fri morning....26 blue cat.......
That is a lot of Catfish.. I love Catfish but I hate skinning those suckers. I remember my Dad teaching me how to do it as a kid. We would nail the head to a tree in the backyard and use pliers to pull off the skin off. How are you preparing them?

Haddock and cod man myself. Maybe it's a Maine thing. And of course the best lobsters in the land! Had fried catfish down in Florida about 10 years ago. Loved it! Get it every time I go down now.

i dunno i hate lobster, have tried it numerous times thinking maybe i will like it and never do. dont like shellfish period, no crab or clams. dont care for most seafood to be honest.

i have had stiped bass and it was good and i have had it and it was horrible so i guess its all on who/how it is cooked.

but i love fishing, usually catch and release though as i have no desire to eat any of it, if i catch a good trout i give it to the grandparent in laws the 90 year old man loves the shit, he guts it and throws it in the pan, head and all and just peels the meat off the bones with a fork.
