Hawaiian Snow SLOW to Flower

Has anyone had a problem with Hawaiian snow being very slow to flower? I know it is a 13-16 week plant, but we are entering week 8 and the flowers are very small, there are hairs but no real tricome formation.

Thougth we might have herms but not sure, first time growing this strain and getting frustrated. Hoping someone can help?

I'm 8.5 weeks into flowering and I just recently started noticing some crystalization on the nuggets. Like you I was worried that there wouldn't be any trichome formation.

Does anyone have any experience growing Hawaiian Snow? Does it normally start to get coated in crystals later in flowering, or does the strain just not have a lot of crystals?

There's crystals after 8 weeks, but they just started becoming noticeable the last week or so. I'm going on 9 weeks tomorrow and it's looking better by the day... it just flowers sooooo slow, which is ironic considering it vegges out of control.

I haven't checked out their YouTube channel yet, looking at it now. Reps for the find!

I actually watched a really funny DVD (geek, I know) on it. Strain Hunters it was called. There's a whole series of them. Talk abt marketing and self promotion!!
Maybe you can see the link for it on the Greenhouse site ??????

I have a Hawaiian Snow growing outside in potting soil. Its a really bitchy plant that's very sensitive to nutrients. It's also a little to lanky for my tastes. I like Green House Seed Co's Super Silver Haze a lot better. This coming from a grower's perspective.
