hi,
I will put my plants into the ground. In the place where I want to grow them the surface ( the ground ) is red clay
I have heared that it holds moisture... what should I do to aviod it?
I will dig a hole and put a plastic bag in it
I should mix the soil with perelite? before putting a plastic bag put there that yellow sand?

red clay is alkaline and they will do poorly. very large holes with lots of amendments. you are better off using pots or bags.

Do it far from a path and water source. Do not grow in rows or a spiral formation. Do 2 plants adjacent to eachother every 20-30 feet and you should be fine. You should start your seeds inside first though.

Not all red clay is alkaline - here in Georgia, the clay is very acid. I tried amending the soil last year with lime, top-soil and other stuff - maybe in enough years it would be ok. This year I dug holes and filled them with peat moss, composted cow manure and composted mushroom. It makes a WORLD of difference! My advice: get rid of the clay entirely.

Will it be ok if I fill the holes with top soil only ( mixed with perelite )?

That will work, but your plants won't be as big or lush as if you had used better soil. Believe me, I didn't want to spend the money for Fox Farms or even peat moss, but the results are worth the cost.

With 35l holes i think u should do ok. I also had to go with red clay soil in my outdoor grow this year and hope it'll be ok. i see u r from EU like me - red clay in my case is on the acid side. i made a little garden and dug and processed an area of 4 m2 about a feet or so deep and added: 20l of vermiculite, 1l perlite, 30l of high-end potting soil, 1kg of guano and fertilizer sticks for pot flowers - one for each plant. 45 plants all together. the terrain is slightly slanted so i hope the excess water will drain away. anyway after 3 weeks the plants are doing very well - i planted 10 plants about a feet high and 35 seedlings. hope it turns out well for u. i'll try to keep u posted on my progress aswell.
