Seedling question

Hello,
I woke up today to see i have 3 little seedlings(afgan kush/northern lights/afgan ryder) pics belooow.
So now my question today is can i put these seedlings under my hood,400w, they are in a dome and the light hood has a sheet of glass. Could this light be to intense for them? or should i move them in slowly to the light?

It would probably be okay, or you could lose all three within a couple hours, hard to say.

I'd just use a small CFL if you have one laying around, at least till they get a set or two of leaves.

For seed grown, Remove dome after first true leaves (when the seed cases have fallen off, not before as it's the humidity that helps them 'drop'). Put in daylight (not too bright) for a couple of days. Check temps and humidity under 400w at leaf height (guessing maybe 24" away from lamp, look it up, I've never used 400s, I've done 250 at 18" and 600 at 30") to start with. Move closer, 1-2" per day.
If cloning, the process is the same but you have to make the dome removal a more gradual thing, open vents for a few days, remove lid for a few hours etc.
This is where you have to treat them like a baby, and not cause any sudden shock.

its a big difference between starting life with a 400 watt and changing to a 400 too early. If you are going to use that 400 watter i would leave it like at least 4 feet away. I dont put my seedlings under such strong light until the 3rd true set leaves are formed. cotelydon dont count

you guys make this so hard. i never used a dome for seeds. i soak them in water till they sink. then germinate them in a paper towel till root pop out. then grab w/tweezers and place just under the soil surface. in a day or two it pops out and keep it under cfl until three sets of true leaves. then they go in with my 400 watter. oh yea small fan blowing not directly but near so stem can strengthen. you guys often times complex a simple problem. weed grows on its own for the most part. God is just that good!

Heat mat would depend on what temps you have already. The trouble with them is they make the substrate dry out really quick.

4weeks later they are all around 1foot tall..moved them to my uncles house because landlord had a house inspection and just let em be outside..they are doing great! lots of cow shit in the dirt @ my uncles house lol..the afgan-ryder died on me(i killed it heheh)mainly because i figured it's a waste of time for a 1-2oz yield
They are really looking like little bushes hahah but i have some plans now..me and my buddy are saving up some cash to get a SoG grow going on..all inspired by https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/6592-get-harvest-every-2-weeks.html
Can't wait to have it setup gonna be about 5-8k and with my 10$.p/h job and monthly expenses it's gonna be a few months from now.Might have to relocate and have my buddy move in to minimize costs lol:]
