BTW smoked vortex for the first time today. and man oh man... talk about a potent flower!!!! i rolled up a .6-.7 joint and shared some with my brother and BLAST OFF!!!! whhoooo i know its a sativa dom but i was feeling sleepy after about an hour!! i wonder what pheno i had??
 
Did they not invent scissors to trim with until 1990 or something?

the weed was probably so shitty they kept every leaf to get as much THC as possible. smh just happy im in the era im in.
 
breeders like dj short actually try and replicate the flavour and high of those old school strains...there must have been something good about them...they certainly wouldn't sell in today's market with pics like that.
 
true... and whose to say that with a lil supersoil and the right conditions that those buds wouldnt turn out dank!
 
there are strains today with horrible "resin" profiles. thats not to say that there aren't more strains available today with better terpenoid and cannabanoid profiles, but those those flowers from the 70's were almost always grown outdoors, in all different environments with who knows what methods. all i am saying is some of that stuff was legendary, and i have even heard of a few people in cali who have grown these exact cuts of Acapulco gold, panama red, lambs bread ect. and have ben growing them indoors for the last 20 years and the flowers they have of the exact cuts are almost completely nonidentical in appearance taste and high today then the same of yesteryears. you have to factor in that the advanced growing indoor techniques have advanced drastically since those buds were photo'ed. not saying your wrong. but a lot has changes since then. and back to that vid, indica varieties never really taste the best or give me the high i prefer IMO. so idk if i can agree with him saying all drug varieties originate from indica reigons.(i could be wrong about that last part)

there would be nothing left!.....no wonder doobies were so popular....imagine the amount of shake!
 
Don't judge what you havn't had thats not brick weed in those pics we just smoked the whole plant back then.
I have smoked many of those strains in that rough form and trust me some will make you see shit or it did me in my early teens and 20's

I had some Jamaican once that was mostly sticks and stems and leaf and it took 4 people to smoke a pinner and it was literally like doing acid.

:weed:What up Sub and all you nerds. I was going to say something to the "Assumers" out there but you beat me to it Sub. Just like the Cali. nugs we get on the East Coast, some look better than others but it is always the Dank. Thanks to all the folks hooking us up. I am still waiting for some TGA varieties to show up. Never judge a book by it's cover, or should I say "never judge a nug by it's color/coating".

what about dr.grinspoon by barneys farm..that shit dont even look like weed..and i smoked sum felt something cold on my shoulder..it was the fuckin floor.....
 
......that was back before the hybridization/indoor movement, where most everything was eqitorial sativas.....high thc, almost zero cbd.....acid weed...i remember once taking one ripper of some sativa before a concert, and ended up missing the whole show, cause i completely passed out, mostly cause i couldn't handle keeping my eyes open because of the hallucinations.......one hit.........
 
hey sub.. whats tha update on the oregan deisel at weeden...cause im a deisel fan would like to see u cross with ,jtr,or appollo13..im gonna cross a deisel cut ive had for 4yrs..deisel x willie nelson im gonna call it MUSIC CITY DEISEL..
