ph should be at 6 for hydro, that is fine throughout, i agree with it being a minor deficiency or spashback. I would bump food up if the ph is ok, just a little see if it perks the leaves up at all, you will see a change very quickly with this medium. I think they need food, they look kinda tired. (leaves a little droopy)

Ec meter is Not that important for a re-circulating res as you flush each week and the plant will only use up what it really needs. The level will drop with food usage also. You will be surprised how much a seedling can handle nutes, especially in a 100% perlite medium. Salts and foods don't attach themselves to perlite like soil or coco.

Ph with this system I find is perfect at around 5.8 - 6.2 no lower than 5.8 that's when i see mag deficiency, as mag doesnt get used up as well below 5.5

Reckon i should just run ph'ed plain water ?
In this sytem you do not want to run ph'd water alone unless you are flushing. this will starve the plant, and she will eat herself to survive.
It's a very simple system, you just need to find their balance while they are young, once they get older you will have a much easier time measuring nutrients as you will be able to go atleast half strength to 3/4 easily after week 2

I have 40litres in the res and put 40ml of a&b nutes (canna recommends 1-1.5 during veg) on monday, how much u think i should add? 5ml of each? more?

nutrients will bind with anything when it dries out

Salts don't bind to the coco they bind to the roots....
sorry man, salts really do bind with coco, really bad I've seen the tops of pots, as it dries out quite fast, i've done a few trial tests, best to use the best quality for coco bigtime, perlite is great because it is full of oxygen but not porous as such( nutrients flows through easily ) the little holes hold the water, not the actual perlite itself

Gorbzzz definitely deficiency, bump it up :) i would say go 2-2.5 ml had a quick squiz at canna, in a re-circulating system they need their food early.

Do not worry :) they will take off, and flourish very soon.

you would of used some food by now, i think it would be safe to top up res to max, and add another 40ml. correct of each

:shock::shock:

You scare me flo haha, my plants are in your hands :lol: Well i guess desperate times call for desperate measures!

Edit: They havent really drank any and i think it will drop the ph too low if i add that much :\

and stick those rings under ;) or add more perlite on top ( washed perlite ofcourse ) and check the feeding times, and get back to us on that :) very important you get that part worked out, just as important as how much food

I can go a whole grow in coco with not flushing once and get no lockout or deficencies or salt build up. Only reason i do flush is more preventitive than needing to do it like it needed to be done .. Must be the coco they were using or they were not doing it correctly flowie
