NO..If you know the persons BCI passes the DOH guidelines and you signed them up..You know for sure it will be approved..They have 15 Buis.days after they receive your caregiver app to notify you IF you or a caregiver are NOT APPROVED.
 
Cool thanks for the reply...just to give an update I. Just got my letter yesterday so it took 29 days from when I mailed in my app...not bad maybe there speeding things up now

I know the practitioners form isn't 100% evident proof, but the law does state the 35 day rule. I took about a week to mail my form in, so it's dated over 35 days - however I'm near 30 since I mailed it in. I accidently washed the form the other day (along with the rest of my wallet - first time in about 10 years) so it's all ripped up and ugly now. I definently need my actual card.
 
I have my appointment at 11th state tomorrow, and I'm absolutely excited and hoping for the best. After suffering with chronic knee and back pain since 2003 (what feels like an eternity) I've been through hell and marijuana is the only thing that eases my pain after my long days at work, school, and internships. When I come home at night I can't sleep without my medicine because of the pain I'm in, but when I take a few hits I sleep like a baby rather than tossing, turning, and swallowing bottles of tylenol PM. From what I've heard 11th State is an excellent place, and it was recommended to me by a friend who was in a horrible car accident. My hope is that they see and understand how marijuana helps me function and takes away my deep, severe pain. I've been going crazy running around to get my medical records, so hopefully I have what I need. I'll keep you posted on what happens, I'm hoping for the best and I've been looking forward to this appointment for days, I feel like a kid around Christmas time, haha.
 
11th state consults is very professional and what they do is great. They charge 300$ to review your medical records and they will not sign it if you dont have a legit reason to be part of the program. 11th state if ur reading these other ppl's negative comments dont listen!! What ur doing is great and keep up the good work!

I think they have a staff of three. I could be wrong about that. Gathering your own medical records and proof of a qualifying condition is not hard and within reason IMHO! They are doing a great service to the community and citizens of Rhode Island. As more offices open I am sure the price will come down a little. This isn't Venice Beach California; Thankfully! They are medical professionals and not handing out recommendations like passes to the circus.

This reminds me do patients need to schedule a 6 month follow up visit? I read somewhere that it was required but I am not sure of the exact wording of the law.
 
Uh-oh...I just read they are being shut down by the state for "not being properly licensed". What a shame....they helped me with no problem and compassionately.

They ask for some kind of medical documents to verify your claim but not a copy of your medical record, Also the $300 is paid upfront before your meeting, so you could pay for them to say no. My suspicions started when I called them and asked the Doctors name and was told I would find that out when I arrived at my appointment. I then called the Department of Health and they had no information on any such practice. Anyone who is not willing to give there credentials upfront is most likely hiding something. Seems kinda shady to me so far. This service will most likely vanish sooner then later just like the others have. I heard a few rumors of another service starting up that sounds to me like it will be more legit then this one (when i know more about them I will pass on the info).

Ive been to 11 state consultations and the 300.00 dollars they charge is only kept if you qualify for the MMP program. Lots of doctors deny the MMP program because they make money from prescribing meds to patients and to be honest, there is nothing shady about 11 state consultation because the day I went there were about 5 people waiting to be seen and only 2 got there approval the other 3 got their cash back. so I dont think its shady beside they are putting thier license on the line to make a 300.00????
 
This guy i know... late 60s has hip pain like crazy and they give him crap ton of perks which he hates taking and gets shots in his hip every so often an now doctor said hes too old to continue the shots for the pain so just prescribed higher perk level for him... i just gave him card for this place cause his doctor is very very old and said he doesnt know anything about the mmp program and wont put in app for it. 11th state was kinda his only hope on the matter unless another place opens.
 
Have him call or call for him. I hear they are still open and making recommendations. The are fighting this in court I'm sure. If not have him try B&B consultants...
