Ok, its 7 weeks into flowering. i stopped useing nutes so plants can flush. Trichs still clear. Its Nirvana NY power diesal. do the buds look ok. leaves are starting to yellow and lower growth starting to fall off. should that happen? this is the first time i've gotten plants this far. here is a pic, let me know your opinions. they are under 21 26watt 2700k bulbs and a couple 26watt 6400k's. it doesnt look like i'm burning them with to much light does it???

Yellowing leaves are normal plants look good don't worry and ignore the crack about cfl's I'm a successful CFL grower myself.

The cfl's were an experiment. and it worked. the room stayed cool and my power bill never went up. i wanted to see if it could be done with things i could buy locally. I used Canna nutes. Terra Vega thru vegging and terra flora, boost and pk13/14 thru flowering. they were afordable and easy to use schedule. would recomend to anyone. would love more constructive comments. thanks bullwinkle60.

I was making fun of you but with good intentions. The light source you choose has nothing to do with power consumption. A watt is a watt. Hps lights are the most efficient by a fair amount.

yes, and the clones i took from them are 3 weeks into flowering. i took clones from the clones and they are in the bubble cloner already getting roots. this is fun.......

looking great..a closeup would be awesome. I would love to see how frosty she is. My first impression was.."wow, very nice and big dense buds for a cfl grow". WHen I grew with cfl's the power bill was up only by $5/month. Now that I use a 400w hps it rises only by $15/month and I supplement with a T8 2 bulb shoplight and 1 55W 2700K cfl for side lighting. Leaves will yellow as she reaches the end of flowering, perfectly normal. +rep for such a nicely grown plant!

Cfl 100 watts is a 100 watts used. the savings can be felt in the reduction of cooling requirements ie a/c etc.
which in turn saves $.

This why I use cfl's... the results are satisfactory for me and that's all that counts for my personal needs.

If I was doing it for commercial purpose. That would be a total different setup and story

Just my 2 cents

Anyway..nice grow man.;-)
