Nice! Have had a few RES myself. Definitely a bit of fun. Is their water really in the 90s? That's quite a bit on the hot side. Feed em anything fun? I use to have a blast going around with a net and tossing pretty much everything I caught into the tank.

no tank is 80 now it was just a bit warm water, i had just bough a canister filter(magnum 350, on a 20gal tank with 10gal in it...upgrading to 55gal cube soon as i find a deal) been feeding them veggies only thier shells are pyrimiding, got em off CL for free cant complain too much, but yeah they both ar eating, the male was the only one eating at first but the female ate today. they both look pretty happy in fact i think they tried to mate to day but i scared them.

MV would probably be better - you want high UV and heat and the rest doesn't matter so much. Although I assume the Megarays MH has increased UV compared to a standard. How big are they right now? I'm growing in a 40g tank right now which will up my planted tank count to 4. Not sure what I'm going to toss in it. Oh, I'd also recommend grabbing a small thing of repti-cal +. Will last you forever and your turtles will thank you over and over again.

Repti-cal is the shit for your reptiles.

well some advice is always helpful i will grab some repti-cal.

also they wont bask, im guessing the prevuios owner had them sitting in water a long time anything i can do about this?

and if i put plants in my tank what kind of substrate? i pretty much have rocks larger than the turtle heads(so they wont try to eat them)

and the pvc platform i put in for them bask, they keep biting it, makes me laugh but has me wondering...

other than that they are pretty active and i know i need the bigger tank.

as far as the mega ray goes, i plan on actually having multiple tanks covered by it, heat wont be a problem honestly a couple 50w heat lamps and a heating pad under the tank and maintaining heat in the largest of aquariums can be easy, but if it was a terrarium tho i would agree the heat would be more necessary. but with the aqaurium heat is more easily kept so i just need steady uv over a large area(x2 50+ gal tanks probably)

15 out of 15 kens kush failed most popped and disintegrated shortly after, had plenty of other seedlings survive(same everything) that's what i get for trying the untested strain should have just went with what every one else got.... might have been something in the post but personally i think the seed where just immature, they should probably pull them off the market just an opinion tho..
