is this possible ..... veg a plant ..... flower a plant .... cut off the buds it produces, then put it back into veg to grow more bud ? i personally think not, my friend however thinks different ? any input ?

the more buds that is left on the plant the faster it will revert back to vegging Yes lots of people do it!

Regerenation is basically after a seedling has been grown to maturity and the buds are harvested, you may realize you want to perpetuate a plant you neglected to take cuttings from. Cut the main stalk down to the point where below which several growth tips or buds are remaining. Return the plant to a vegetative fertilizer and constant photoperiod. Over the next several weeks, the plant will elongate and devlop new upward growth. It is very important not to overwater the plant after it has been cut back. The reduced above ground plant structure is still being fed by the entire existing root system, which can cause an excessive amount of water uptake and the resultant stress associated. The use of fertilizers containing some ammonium form nitrogen, such as chicken manure or Genesis Grow 2 will encourage rapid growth and stem elongation. Trace element supplements, co2 and strong light are helpful.

well, it is a bit tricky since cannabis is an annual plant but it has been done i would prefer cloning since it far less of an gamble if it will work out for you or not

Also, you might think this is easy, and it really is not 100% from what I can see so far, I started with re-vegging 4 plants, and my success rate so far looks to be 50% but could drop to 25%. Have to wait and see.

sure, cloning is not gifted with a 100% success rate either but so far i managed to get 60 to 80% of all my clones to root and grow, my two attempts to grow a tree out of harvested plant both failed so i have more confidence into my cloning skills then into my re-vegging

but maybe you are gifted with a big green thumb then me and if it is a good plant it should deserve a second chance
