LOL i could never do that, i like things very clean even if i gotta suck it up an clean up after a pig. Ya so the other male roommate came home for a few days, omg he has shit all over his bed !!!! Where does he even sleep??? So i get off work the other day, get home and tidy the kitchen first thing, next thing i know he has made toast and left the biggest mess i've ever seen while grilling 2 pieces of bread !!! I gave him a few hours but soon realized he was not gonna clean up. What a jerk, he even watched me clean before he made the mess :( I don't get what goes through these slobs brains?? Meh not worth the argument, it's just crumbs.

That ^^^, that right there is why it's so hard to consistently keep the house clean, one person can't do everything on their own. They can, but they will quickly lose motivation to do it for anyone else but themselves if they're the only one that gives a fuck.

This is a total deal breaker for me, and I have never met a chick like you (april) in real life whose as adamant about a clean living environment as I am. Sloppy,messy chicks don't get second dates. You would think a chick would clean her car up or her room up if someone was coming over, I sure as fuck know I would! I've been to their house when picking them up to take them out and all I see are used cotton balls on the floor from when she cleaned the nail polish off her fingernails, clothes all over the apartment, dishes piled up in the sink, hair EVERYWHERE! This goes for every chick I've ever been with.

Is that really just being picky or is that just basic life shit?

I think your apartment/living environment kind of reflect what kind of a person you are.

Looks like he won sounds like a smart dude. Hey, ever consider that maybe it wasn't that he didn't believe in it but that you may be so anal and ocd that you didn't give him a chance? You said the plates turned green not that you ran out of clean ones and that maybe he doesn't share your discomfort with green dishes at all? :bigjoint:

That pic reminds me of an old friend that is dead now. He was a fat guy that sold weed and he had an old Ford Ranchero truck. The whole back end was just full of fast food bags. He would put quarter pounds of weed in empty fast food bags and when he went on a delivery he would toss it in the back with the hundreds of other ones. When he would get pulled over, the cops would say,"why don't you clean this shit up" ? He had priors and they suspected he was dirty, but no one wanted to go through all that garbage ! Good times.....

I need to be blunt here no disrespect but you are seriously overreacting. That being said, as someone who doesn't notice 3' cobwebs hanging from my ceiling until it is pointed out and then I am still wondering why they care I absolutely love when folks like you just go on ahead and do your thing we really just don't give a shit or we would do it ourselves. Trust me from experience that unless you can be honest and some sort of understanding is had you really should move for the happiness of all.

I rent out my extra rooms nowadays and yes I would be embarrassed to have a sloppy home but that is because it is my home and I am collecting payment for not having a sloppy home. I am fortunate that Mr Mellow is fond of cleanliness and we make a good team but damn a roommate moving in should automatically mean a deep cleaning of the house lmfao... did you even inform these poor folks of your cleanliness expectations or do you believe that everyone shares your standards?

A salad sitting on a counter top for hours should not be eaten by a young pregnant women, seriousy lol i should not have to ask someone to pick up their own filth, it's nasty, don't be a fucking pig, just that easy :) I don't get half ur comments so it's best to occupy my fingers elsewhere ;)
