if it bothers you clean that shit an if they have an issue tell them you dont want to have a nasty place where you put your food an if they dont want you to do it clean it when they make a mess in there. thats not rude an you dont have to say it rude. if anythin its rude to live with others an leave your mess. if you're livin alone an you wanna be a slob thats fine but not with 3 other ppl.

they should be lucky to have a roommate like you cause ive lived with slobs before an i was basically payin rent for a place i never really stayed cause i was soo disgusted.

your approach was a lot better than mine. i just couldnt stand the fact that id have to clean up after grown ass people. chief is right charge em! lol or just have em smoke you out all the time for cleanin. lookin back now i woulda went for that deal.

Well they are in their early 20's i'm 30 so i think i'm just a bit more mature, not gonna make an issue of it, i like cleaning, i'm gonna think of it as practice for when i have kids ;) lol They are nice people so i'd rather pick my battles ;)

Establish boundaries however. If they are truly awful about leaving trash around, bag it and place on the perp's bed. They'll get the hint, unless they're (certain unnamed RIU mambers). cn

to me 20+ you grown enough to pick up after yourself. i need to take some tips from you on patience cause for me cleanin it wasnt an option it was either yell at everyone or leave...so i stayed at my ex's a lot lol. smart tactics you're usin tho!
 
Hey if you live long enough you'll learn to pick your battles wisely, this is you not some one making you do it.
They might start picking up a little more.
If not ****k them do it your self if it bothers you, I have to here but I medicate like a Mother and don't care.:lol::eyesmoke:bongsmilie
 
April, I feel your pain. I tried to follow the thread but I became grossed out. I once shared a house with my brother who didn't believe in doing dishes. I went on strike and let things pile up. When plates started to turn green I gave up and bought a dishwasher.
