If you MUST involve someone, make sure they have just as much to lose as you.
I would never tell any of my siblings, not because I don't trust them, just because they don't have any risk invested in the op.
However, if we get busted out of our house (which we wont), my husband and I are both going down for it because the house is in both our names. It's usually not like that with a sibling.

I know the #1 rule is telling no one, but I trust my siblings. My parents, never, but at least my two older siblings (younger one is still a bit immature) plus my two eldest siblings smoke. I've trusted these two with other things, as well as my life on several occasions. These people don't let down on stuff like this (on the other hand, ask them to remember to bring you a sandwich and you might as well have sent that message into outer space).
Granted, I haven't told my siblings I plan to grow, but they do know I have more of an interest in cultivation than I have in smoking.

Same problem. Someone know's.....plus when you go look at your plant's they seem to keep missing top's................................Why don't you just move the op to a friends house. I'm coming back home from college in a few weeks and asked a friend if I could have my op over at his house and he said it was fine. Just gotta give up about an oz or two

im not saying that you are going to get busted for sure because of it, im just saying that its friggin absurd to even dream of taking that risk

all i know is my op has a nice piece of paper by it that states its for prop 215.... so LE can suck it, of course the DEA could rip it apart with out taking two seconds to read my prop 215 paper....
As far as security for the public, telling no one is the key, 1 person knows about mine and he has just as much invested as i do, and a few select people on here know about in through PM's, I am a private person and even with this great community of growers and people sharing their knowledge. I just don't find it necessary to advertise every detail of my op.
Half the fun of growing is knowing you grow what most people pay for, few are brave enough to do, and you know your friends (the smoking friends) would kill to do what your doing. I keep people on a need to know basis, they don't need to know, so they will never know.

wow dude your story is the exact reason why i smoke,... i get killer migraines which cause pain that is really indescribable...
i too just curl up with my head down and hope to god i dont throw up...
throwing up while i have a migraine makes it much worse... but smoking does help,
I TOTALY FEEL YOUR PAIN> in fact i am getting one right now and i have to step away from the comp and go smoke

Good comment. I originally didn't think a family member who would GAIN some very, very good weed, would actually be such an uncaring idiot.
There is another factor i think... Like that the guy said, any of my weed smoking buddies, would KILL to have the balls to be growing dope...
And sometimes, they will kill you, by calling the cops oi you.

I would relax. I know it's tough, but people forget quick. Wait a month or two and see how things are then.
