I have some sort of prob happening, started about a week or so ago , thought it was nute burn so i flushed to no avail, then I tried potasium and epson salt, and still no reverse...Looks like it is spreading out from one main pathogen holder or something,so i'm starting to think rust fungus Teamed w a deficiency of nitrogen or something which makes me nervous since im only in f5 and rust is getting on some of the bud leaves...What do you guys think?,any advice would be great.thnx., I also have another post from a while back w more Comments, ill post the link.

water is reverse osmosis @ 6.4 P.H.,. soil runnoff is about 6.6. Daytime temps are about 76-78 and nighttime temps are about 70-72. So room is pretty primo, But this crap is spreading like wildfire..I do have a slight fungus gnat infection so maby They gave me some kind of pathogen?

could be over watering. i was just going through this myself and thought it was a fungus gnat issue. someone suggested that it was an over watering issue which created the deficiencies and/or lockouts. what color are you roots? if they're thin and tan like there's the answer to your issue.

Thnx For Your Responses,Ya I usually do feed cal mag, But Stop Using It around flower week 5 for more phosphorous & Postasium Uptake. Maby I'll Try a ml cal mag per gal.I do have thin roots but they have a fairly nice color (Off white). Think You could be right fresh, I don't over water but have drainage issues in my kiddie pools I'm using as the bottoms fill up w drianage and I have to drain so i have to vacume water up ,wich leaves em soaking for about 30 min...I'll start watering and draining 1 pool at a time and hopefully this will clear up drainage issues if thats the prob..I was thinking nute burn or rust fungus, but no spores come off on hand when I rub the necrotic spots between fingers, but maby there to small to see/feel..
Respect!
Any other Ideas?

Update
Ya fresh i just checked a root ball on 1 I trashed and they are a bit tan and very thin looking,so drainage was obviously an issue.... I'm gonna let em dry out a good amount, maby get some bricks or something to set pots on so there out of standing water when I water...
Perhaps This Problem Is As Simple As Elementry Grow Ethics I have been slippin on, Drrrr.:wall:
-RESPECTZ Fresh2DE@TH !

That is a good point Fresno,I'll try adding a couple ml to reg after dry n flush, hate these 2.5 gal smart pots for soil, they can't hold there nutes for shit cause there too small!! Probably jus gonna flush an start off fresh.thnx fellaz!

you can buy pea gravel at home depot, lowes, or orchard's

Yea its definatly nute burn, but your pH is fine... perhaps you need to check your nutrients, for settle-ing of stuff inside, or check and see if its fresh.

i would also say they look a bit low on N but you gotta fix the abundance first

no disrespect, but i would have to disagree with you on this. look at all the pics and you'll will see deficiencies and lockouts.

I see deficiencies. Doubt anything is locked out. Lockout does not happen near as much and some would say around here. The key to his problem is the fact he stopped using cal/mag at week 5. Plants need all 17 basic elements throughout their grow cycle. Its just the ratios of some elements that change during different cycles. Calcium and Magnesium both should remain at about a 3:1 ratio throughout the grow. Magnesium is a major player in the enzymes produced by the plant and a key element in chlorophyll. And Calcium is a big player in bud production. Trying to rob Peter to pay Paul(no cal/mag-more P and K)may look good on paper. But in reality is just plain bad for the plants........

good point and well explained.

I agree with both of you I see deficiency/lockout/nute burn look at the leaf tips fresh2death.....just sayin
i totally understand where you're coming from but just because you see the burnt tips it doesn't always indicate nute burn. also if you notice the tips are curling up on one of the pics and as i stated and Alexander expounded on, it's clearly a deficiency. from what i can't definitively say.
my issue came from over watering and his sounds like the same and possibly more, from cutting the use of the cal/mag supplement.

yeah we may never know till he gets the problem fixed lol.......good work brainstorming though guys. love the teamwork on this one.
