i too would like to know...that is some serious froth you got on top.
yeah, i also got rid of my air stones, and fitted a four way splitter with home-made perk tubes....i hate cleaning clogged airstones....this is a nute blast batch, so EWC, High P guanos(2), a little epsoma tomato tone (dry), powdered comfrey (coffee grinder), powdered kelp, splash humic acid, and sucanat.that pump is going to serve u well. whats in that batch?
yes roots like oxygen. which has zero to do with that fertilizer blend. yes bacteria like oxygen but they dont like guano. compost tea and fertilizing are different. you could see the same results from just stirring it with a stick and applying it. Nugs care to give that a try?Roots like plenty oxygen and so do the bacteria in his tea I'm sure
just to get your attention!!!! it worked!.....no really, my intuition says yes....and i always trust it.....i brought my plants up to speed using this method, and they are the healthiest plants you would ever see.....so i am just going with my heart......as far as giving a new way a try....i'm not proud dude.....i trust your skills...you tell me what to do, and i will give it a try......my goal is not to have to crack open my bottles....i want to feed them completely with Tea's.....guano, and sucanat..........so i have both N and P guanos, kelp powder, comfrey powder, home-made EWC, and Epsoma organic dry.....i also have dr. earth fish bone meal if needed......so lets put it this way, if this was your scene, you had my plants that were put in a super soil that was believed to be stonger than it was!......i would say as a real general guage.....maybe about 900 ppm......overall.........(roots is 550 out of the bag using my primative masor jar shake method) and this is what you had to work with......how would you do it?......this is exciting.....why are you aerating your fertilizer blend?
cool thanks.....like i said....my intuition....i heard the plants tell me too....maybe they know something....going to pick up some fish....i will separate food from tea from here on out....i think all the stuff your using is fine i just think your wasting your time bubbling it. like i said mix it with a stick and pour it right on. make your compost tea similar to the recipe on microbe organics..
do u know that bubbling it, made any difference? could it be possible that just the npk u threw at it made them happy?
Morgan composting is a very nice outfit. Locally owned and run, pleasant to work with and talk to. I've been there a few times, I like to use their various types of manure and castings in my super soil. I prefer sticking with roots organic for the base of the mix though, I find it can't be beat. I spoke with some people in southwestern Michigan earlier this year that are professional compost sprayers. I think they said they use morgan's 201 mix for their compost teas. They have their shit lab tested for bacteria levels too, I thought that was pretty sweet. Cool thread peeps, I'll be sticking around.Check out this Michigan business. They make Dairy Doo, a cow compost, and are 100% organic. They also make poultry compost and worm castings, plus they deliver. Although I believe they have retailers all over the state. I think I might try them for my next batch. I have a plant based compost up the street from me at a local woodchip place, but I would rather find something else. I don't know how the quality is. If you find one post it up.

so, why brew up bennies seperate?nice brewer. forgot to say everyone of those dry amendments could simply be mixed with ewc and top dressed. the only thing u would need to put in your water is the sucanat.
I always preferred using the guanos and other nutrients in the tea when i did mine. Just seemed an easy way to measure a light feeding for all of the plants consistently without using more by means of top dressing. Especially with the powdery guanos. Would probably save on mess though! Something about brewing it all together like that just makes me all warm and fuzzy, lol. I get the same feeling when I'm making a soil mix.nice brewer. forgot to say everyone of those dry amendments could simply be mixed with ewc and top dressed. the only thing u would need to put in your water is the sucanat.
to grow a herd.....then we feed the herd....then herd feeds plant, then plant feeds fungi, then fungi/bac feeds plant.......then we smoke/eat plant.......then everyone is full, content, and most importantly happy......okay lets see where this leads us..what in your eyes is the purpose of compost tea?
