I live in uk and this is nothing against people of the US or anything

I know by him releasing top secret documents the US want him, but by not saying it straight they are being so fucking ridiculous.
Why cant they come out and say, UK we want him now! no they dont say that and the UK are doing the most pathetic and illegal thing, trying to invade and another country because thats what they are technically doing trespassing on foreign soil.
If they did that to the US embassy there would be murder would there not?

lets look at this another way assange never sold the secrets to anyone for money, he just told the whole world the truth about what the US have done, plus it happens in other countries too like UK. But how can the UK government a supposed evolved country try and raid an embassy over a rape allegation from another country there are other situtations that would of called for more force like these to cases;

Murder of Yvonne Fletcher:
a british police woman shot and killed outside the libyan embassy, from inside, now to me this terrible act should of made the RAF to blow the fucking embassy up, but no we send them home on a fucking plane, but we are willing to raid an embassy over a rape allegation.(must have something to with oil)

this man hacked nasa for proof of cover-ups of UFO's etc. but he is still in this country dont you think he sould be extradited by now considering he's not in an embassy, just goes to show how bad US want assange.

I have alot of respect of assange and think its very clever and quite funny the way he puts the finger up to the biggest countrys in the world, we know the US are going to get him if he goes to sweden its just sp pathetic all they are doing for the US and yet no one is admitting what they really want i hope he stays there and tells them to fuck right off.

This whole mess is embarassing. Why were you guys holding him under house arrest in the first place? Was it because Sweden wanted him? The girls in Sweden don't even wanna file a suit, it's the goverment that wants to "talk" to him? Now he's stuck, not getting out of the embassy, and I hear the Ecuadorian residents are beginning to get a little annoyed with Asssange, since apparently he isn't the easiest house guest to live with. All because he exposed some truth in the world.

Yeah, the US is just saying they don't want him to keep the news about this story down. Practically no one in America really knows about Julian Assange and the shit that went down wi WikiLeaks. There isn't much media coverage on the matter here, and I suspct that's mainly because if more people knew about how ridiculous this was, the majority would side with Assange and it would become a public relations nightmare. No...I think they're trying to keep everything quiet, so even one day 8 years from now, when some media outlet announces that "Julian Assange was sentenced to death.", the rest of the country will sorta be like "Who?"

Perhaps in YOUR neck of the woods! But ANYONE who pays moderate attention to even just US news knows about JA and Bradley Manning and how funding was pulled. People who pay even moderate attention to world news know even more. So, to assail the entire US as ignorant merely because the people you come across are, isn't really accurate or fair. Peace
EDIT: Let me just be clear here, there ARE many reasons to ASSAIL us (the US) as IGNORANT (the current presidential race is one!) but NOT knowing JA/WL is not one! Peace

No, I understand that, but has the US said they NO LONGER have any interest in him, that is "my" question. I mean, the US has proven that they can get people who are changing planes in third world countries, without announcing it. I am just curious if there has been a shift in policy where the us in not interested in him.... Thanks!

The media loved Assange at first. Then they blacked him out and now they are in full swing propaganda mode to convince us that we should all hate his guts. Even anti government sites like Infowars and Disinfo have been pushing hit pieces on this guy. I need a little more than "Ecuador Sucks" or "He doesn't flush" to turn on the guy who clued us all in on TrapWire.

I can say the opposite if te truth also. Face it the main reason us wants to kick his ass is because he showed people the bullshit that was happening. I doubt that goober is even interested in hooking up with Swedish sluts. And do you hear this much of a rukus over any other allesged rape?

What do you think makes him a dick?

I think he's an alright guy, don't really know him or if he raped anyone (that would kinda put him on my shit list). I think it's pretty scary he can't go to Sweden to face any charges without worrying about being diplomatically kidnapped by the US legal system. I can't imagine him staying in that Embassy forever. I wonder how he'll try to escape. I'd go to Cuba, bang bitches and smoke cigars.

If you actually look at the rape allegations, they pretty much fall apart in my opinion. The rape allegations seem to me to be pretty much invented by the Swedish authorities. He had consensual sex with a couple of Swedish women.

I know they're using the word "rape" but my understanding is it's not the same as what we would call "rape" in the states. I thought the sex was consensual but that he lied to them about sporting a jimmy hat. I guess in Sweden that's a form of rape.

Feel free to correct me on this. It's no the type of thing I research.
