If you dont want to vote
Then stay out of the political section
Politics (from Greek politikos "of, for, or relating to
citizens") as a term is generally applied to the art or science
of running governmental or state affairs, including behavior
within civil governments , but also applies to institutions,
fields, and special interest groups such as the corporate ,
academic , and religious segments of society. It consists of
"social relations involving authority or power" and to the
methods and tactics used to formulate and apply policy .[1]
Modern political discourse focuses on democracy and the
relationship between people and politics. It is thought of as
the way we "choose government officials and make
decisions about public policy".

So I have to abide by the current political thought? If we all thought that way, there'd still be slaves. Have you changed your mind, slavery was awesome?

LOL!!! I have the right to voice my opinion anywhere at anytime. You are part of the problem, saying i don't have the right to voice my opinion, that i should stay silent. Watch the damn video and voice your own damn opinion i don't care, just as long as it doesn't infringe on my own rights i don't give a shit.

You want to be a part of this thread, then contribute to it. Quit complaining like a little bitch, oh nooooo he doesn't want to vote get him outta here! Fucking retarded.

How about you get out of the thread if you don't like it. Quit whining... god damn i hate whiners.

Great vid

I'll still be voting, but I really don't expect any massive change.

I will agree "garbage in, garbage out" :dunce:

I was apathetic until canndo pointed something important out to me: it's about what we want in a Supreme Court nominee. That is the most direct power wielded by a President, even if (especially because!) its consequences are not immediately obvious, and also because those consequences can last decades. cn

Im thinking
If you dont want to vote
Then you dont have a right to discuss politics
You are not part of the solution
you are part of the problem

Picking between one turd over a bigger turd is hardly helping or being part of any solution.

PPACA.

Obama: not a tax.

Supreme Court: it's a tax

Obama: my bad.

This just proves, no matter political leaning, the justices are bought and paid for. Just more evidence voting does fucking jack shit.

about half of all people don't vote. almost all people complain about their elected representatives.

love to quote maddow on this: "if you don't vote, you are carrying out someone else's agenda"

a better case to not vote is statistically based. your vote is very unlikely to matter in most places and races.

as to duke anthony of the chesusrice colony, as long as the thread is constricted to "do not vote" it is fine, but if he complains later we get to point it out. i don't see zaehet ever complaining in the politics section, just wandering over from ss&p and raising some p questions.

he has the right to discuss politics all he wants despite not voting. and he still would have the right to complain, but only at the peril of the "don't vote don't complain" decree of 2001.

Whats the difference between "dont vote" and voter suppression

If you look at the "dont vote advocates"
They seem to come from the "loon Paul commune"

What party benefits when voter turn out is low?

3 reasons to vote even if U don't like the big party candidates....1.a fringe candidate getting a larger than anticipated vote will get the attention of the major parties and one or the other may move to corral those voters.....2.A third party candidate can cause an incumbant to be toppled (Clinton,Bush,Perrot) really getting the major parties attention....3.If you don't vote now you will not be able to impress people in the future by saying things like..."Hell I've voted for Angela Davis"

I choose my own agenda. Not voting would be choosing my own agenda.

I believe one should vote for the the candidate whose agenda matches up more closely with their own. None will ever match up perfectly.

That's why I may vote Gary Johnson.

My vote for a candidate only means I approve of their agenda.
