There's also some on THC farmer...
/agreeI do like that they are adding the UVB bulbs though, it at least means they are watching the market and staying on top of things.
I agree here... I think 2 Solarflares would be great for my 2x4 tent, but you would want 4 Solarflares for a 4x4 tent... IMHOI don't think 400W's of LED per flowering tent is going to work out very well.
That would work for vegging, but is not enough light for the flowering you want.
Despite the differences in LED and HID, they have one thing in common, always flower with around 50W's of light per square foot.
4'x4' tent = 16 square feet
16 x 50W's = 800W's
I'd say that 600W's of LED is as low as you can go for a 4'x4' tent during flowering and still get decent results.
This is a new and untested company in the marketplace, so be wary, and spend your money wisely.
Good luck.
Yay!!! I am overjoyed to hear that George says 2x2 area, because I believe that he is telling the TRUTH and the TRUTH is what we need more of =D Even the product information .pdfs on their website advertise 3x3 area for a Solarflare, so I am personally very satisfied to hear that George got real, and broke it down for you, and told you 2x2, and to use 4 Solarflares in a 4x4 tentChecked my email, George says a 2x2 area for flowering for the solarflare. So, I'd need 4 for my 4x4 tent....
I'm thinking the solarstorm instead now...
yeah!!! well I would be just as interested in a 4 kessil h350 setup as I am a 4 Solarflare setup in a 4x4 tent... would make a great comparison journalI'm also interested in x4 Kessil h350's... for a 4x4 tent... it'd be about $1600.... not cheap....

what would you go with?I'm baffled why anyone likes these lights, they run hot and they have cheesy flames on them...
A simple search on the "led companies with links" will give you plenty choices including area51 and a few others mentioned down the line of the thread.what would you go with?
It doesn't. It just means if something goes wrong we don't have to pay extreme shipping charges to have it repaired. You also save on the shipping times to and from.A simple search on the "led companies with links" will give you plenty choices including area51 and a few others mentioned down the line of the thread.
One thing I should say here and may not be popular amongst mericans is since when is "made in America" going to guarantee a better made product????
Think about it...
Name me one led panel that has all TRUE five watt emitters driven at 4.2w per diode that doesn't run hot.............i'll waitI'm baffled why anyone likes these lights, they run hot and they have cheesy flames on them...
And your point is what????.....they look ugly, they still run hot...no wonder they have cheesy flames on them and if they were the business we would be seeing a lot more people buying them and doing journals with them...oh yes that's why few people buy them...they are expensive!!Name me one led panel that has all TRUE five watt emitters driven at 4.2w per diode that doesn't run hot.............i'll wait
Ironically this is the first time this is mentioned when bringing up the "Made in America" subject. I can tell already that some folks are getting patriotically defensive....It doesn't. I'm more concerned that the panels are HUGE, loud (the storms anyway), the fake grow journals and the warranty being reduced from 3 to 2 years. And your point is what????.....they look ugly, they still run hot...no wonder they have cheesy flames on them and if they were the business we would be seeing a lot more people buying them and doing journals with them...oh yes that's why few people buy them...they are expensive!!
