If you were going to pay someone to trim for you it would be better to pay by weight trimmed, instead of hourly, keeps things more honest and you dont end up paying $15/hr for someone that only trims a 1/2oz an hour

Just picked up a used trimpro automatik this thing is tits. Yeah you got to go over it with scissors but I'm really blown away at what this thing does. From harvest to last trim a lb takes around 8-10 hrs for one person. This allows to get em done in no longer than 2. No mangled buds at all with the blade set in the right position. Highly suggested to anyone who's got a big garden coming dodowning

i been taking plants chopping branches running them through the trimpro. Letting them dry for a week or so. Coming back and hand trimming sugar leaves. I'd estimate each pound is taking 1 person 2-2.5 hours to get done

trimming is just one of those things you gotta really get into what you're doing... if you keep trimming thinking you havebetter shit to do you'll never be good at trimming.

you also need scizzors that you actually LIKE to use... that are easy to use and that you are fast and accurate with.

I've trimmed 10+ lbs with surgeon scizzors that are slightly loose so the resin doesn't clog them up.....

but in the end it just isn't for some people... but I"m more inclined to believe people don't have the best mentality when going into the trimming process... they just wanna smoke the bud and don't realize that this is a meditative artful process...trimming.

this is off of one of my little potted plants. Sharks breath and the only plant I've pulled this year.

here's a nug all trimmed up

I think I pulled it a bit early I wish I'da given it another few days.
I filled 3 half gallon mason jars with that plant. Last year I was only getting 1 quart to 1 half gallon per potted plant. :)

Fuck yeah, I hate trimming and the whole curing process is a stressful bitch too. I didn't know there was a market for professional trimmers. Hmm. Might look into it. I'll jump on a $15 / hr gig.

Everyone has their own methods, but I like ripping the leaves off by hand then going back with scissors to more or less shape the buds into nuggets. When I've used scissors to deleaf my plants in the past, I was always a lot slower and my fingers would hurt after a while. Plus by ripping them off by hand, all the hash collects on my figures. After deleafing two to three colas I usually have enough on my figures to roll the sticky icky into a pea sized ball. The torn leaves still have plenty of hash for baking and making drinks.

if you're ripping leaves off by hand you will not be considered a professional trimmer..... most growers want their trim to be cut by scizzors to preserve the trichomes for later hash making.

I just trimmed 15 plants and it was BULLLLLLLSHIT! Oh man. I went one night without sleep and the next night almost the same, just so they wouldnt mold. Had to move my trim operation 3 different times because people are fucked in the head. Finally got it all drying out on screens though. Feels good .Btw half were masterkush and the other half swiss cheese. Nirvana yo!

I'm only doing a real trim on the top buds that are going into my half gallon mason jars. The rest are going to be packed more or less untrimmed (freezer bags, bins or buckets) for hash, extracts, etc. That's how I'm handling it.
