hahah light bleaching.... LOL im having some of that happening too... lol like the whole tip.. im gonna spread my lights out a little to resolve it. and pack plants in wall to wall =)

I plan on vegging for 2 less weeks and also putting the screen lower when growing Sativa dominant strains. If I only knew this was a Sativa when I got it....

I think it will be another week or so until harvest. The plants still look like they have a good deal more to bulk up so I am going to let them do their thing. There is no need to harvest even one day before they're ready, especially since I have some of the #4 plant to smoke on. I am going to be making some hash this weekend with the trim and shake from the #4 plant. Here are some updated pics of the tent:

Here is the empty space where the #4 plant used to be. It was definitely a good call to harvest it so I could fix the circulation problem since the other plants have at least a week more to go. I think they would all be in serious trouble if I left everything alone and didn't fix the issue.

Yeah man I vegged for too long and put the screen too high for growing a Sativa dominant strain. Oh well live and learn right?!?

The yield looks like it will be decent, maybe a little more than last grow. As long as I get a pound I will be happy with this grow. Next grow I will be a little more cautious with my height restrictions and the yield should be better when the colas are under the light instead of growing past it.

yeah they were pretty decent yielding when i grew them. some phenoms not so much most are good tho.

I am gonna pop a seed or 2. How do you determine sex without flowering? I am not looking into any breeding, just want some new moms.

I am gonna pop a seed or 2. How do you determine sex without flowering? I am not looking into any breeding, just want some new moms.

let them grow out till they mature. they will automatically show sex even before flowering. the males will show different then the females. i usually give them a week after they show sex before i kill the males off just to be 100% sure they arent female. some strains will mature in about 1.5 months but ive had some take as long as 2.5 months before they fully matured. thats more strain dependent i think. the females will grow calyxes and pistils at the base of the nodes first before they show on the rest of the plant. normally thats the case with me.

You can clone the two plants when they are at least a month old and then put those clones into flower. Just remember to keep track of which clone goes to which mom and you will be able to tell the sex of the plants.

I made some BHO and bubble hash from some of the #4 plant that was harvested last weekend. This is my first time making and trying BHO and I really like it. It is very easy to make and is ready to smoke very quickly when compared to ISO or bubble hash. It is also pretty clean with very little to no taste of any solvent. I want to try dry ice extraction next.

My aero/bubble cloner seems to be working. I took it apart to add more weatherstripping because I ran out when I built it.

The clone and mom tent is rocking, I just wish I had more grow tents up and running now so I could take more clones.

Thx, I kind of overdid it this grow but it should make it to the end.

I am definitely trying to get to the perpetual (or monthly) harvest but I need to get the bigger water chiller first. I am thinking 1.5-2 HP should handle 2 flower tents and 1 veg tent.
