It is a possibility that my light was a bit too close, however the buds that are the closest to the light are showing no signs of fading/bleaching. (it's about 10-12'' from the AO and much further from the rest, I ll take pics with the measuring tape later) I raised the light a couple inches last night because I thought the same thing. I have not seen any signs of bleach though its only the fan leaves fading to yellow too soon. What distance do you have the light from the tops of the plants?
Plenty times I've had issues with some unexplained weird leaf action, and backing the light off has helped in a lot of cases.
I agree, if a light is good for 1 strain, it's good for all strain... I don't buy into this, be prepared though because the next thing coming up will be seedbanks selling seeds from LED breeder and asking more money for ''LED strains'' pretending to sell genetics that does better with LEDs... non sense if you ask me.what strains dont "like" leds? Or what are the common characteristics of the strains that don't? I haven't come across anything that indicates plants don't do anything other than love leds. ive grown over a dozen different stains over the past two years under led and haven't noticed them not liking it. when I hear that strains don't like leds I don't buy it. Maybe they didn't like the spectrums that guy was using but that cant be blamed on the led tech itself, I would call it user or spectrum fault. Just my observations.
24'' from the AO would bring the light too far from the rest, I gotta put my hands on milk crates to raise them up. I just got done with work yesterday and I am home for the winter now, I will have more time to make everything more efficient. You are right though I think I was forgetting how strong the light really is. In the tent the light is way up and everything is doing amazingly well. I ll upload a few pics of the tent later. I got a few ladies with pretty nice curves ...I'd back it off to at least 24", not only for better coverage, but also so it's not so intense on the plants right beneath it.
Very sorry I can not agree that White Widow strains don't do well under LEDs, but of course, they just need some more weeks for flowering than the other strains, normally WW needs 11-14 weeks flowering. My Friend BadKarma and I were having an argument over this topic in a different thread, he claimed that white widow strains dont do as well with leds, guess what? I am germinating a white widow now I am sure BadKarma will stop by at one point or another, hopefully I can prove him wrong with the 1 seed I have haha.
Thank you guys for the inputs, I raised the light, I gave her a small feed, and now we'll see how she does in a few days!!
Happy growing everyone
I Agree With Brother EH.When Sally Grew Too Close To My Led I Had A Couple Of Leaves Do The Twist And CurlWhat distance do you have the light from the tops of the plants?

they are budding and I can't get my head wrapped around spraying H2O2 on my plants!!PM hates H2O2. 3% spray should do it without hurting the plants
I had the same problems towards the end of my Liberty Haze grow... I made a h2o2 solution and sprayed all my buds at the start of each day. That took care of the exposed PM so that I could continue my grow but it was an everyday battle. If you remember I harvested a bit early and gave everyone of my girls a h2o2 wash exactly how cervantes shows in his video... It did the trick for me. My buds were all fine... As a matter of fact they are all smoked and gone.
Good luck, End.
I hope so, I've smoked over 4 ounces treated haze already... heh. Seriously... It evaporates, There is no residue. Tried and true. I was amazed how well it worked. Right down to the PM you "wash" off floating on the top of the water.... Make the solution. Dip your branches in, leave for about 3 minutes... Take out, Rinse off. Hang them and put a fan on them for a few hours. When they're no longer wet you continue your harvest as normal...jorge cervantes is such a nice guy, hard not to listen to his advices ... I will definitely be doing on my outdoor plant because she is beautiful and smells great and I don't want to use her for hash only. Sure it's ok to smoke h2o2 residual1!!??
