I'm interested to see how the Rockwool clones I have set down will respond.Having used both rapid rooters (or similar) and rockwool for cloning, I personally prefer rockwool. It just seems to be easier for me to stay the right moisture level.
Can you post a pic of that setup?It's fine to just leave it on until they root out. You will have to pop them out of the cell tray to check. I prefer to skip the tray completely. I dont like the cubes so close to the bottom heat and water. I just put a half inch of water in the bottom of the flat to keep humidity up and stabilize temps and then use a raised tray above that and just set rapid rooter cubes with clones upside down on it. It's nice because you can see the roots without messing with the plug and the cubes dont get waterlogged or such direct heat from the mat.
I kno it's old but ya gotta love it. I'm battling the clone curve rite now as well. So much to when and WHEN to apply what ones learned.Here's the clones 3 1/2 days after cutting and setting:
