What is the best way to position 1000 watt lights in a room?

say if i wanted to set up 4000 watts. would it be best and most efficient use of light if i set it up in a square like configuration?

so that way light is crossing over from each light onto other plants?

Vertical setups are always the most efficient, although i believe 600's (say 7 instead of 4 1000's) are better for them. Still, more efficient even with 1000's.

Not interested in 600 watt lights or 400 watt lights. also not intereseted in a vertical set up. I want to know the best way to postition lights horizontally. Anybody?

imo the square setup seems to be the best,as you said they will overlap each other that way.i see alot of inline setups and wonder why.but i think most times it comes down to room size.i run 600's and have them in the square setup on movers,seems to work good.

Due to the l x w of my room, I have 3 of them in a straight line, which I have 24 pots in an ebb and grow under. I don't like that setup at all since the light on the sides is obviously much less than the middle of the canopy. I wish they were in a square if I had 4 fwiw. Acually for my space I wish I had bought 6 600's, would have been much better.

For best efficiency, in a square. For good efficiency plus improved serviceability of the grow, in a straight line on the long axis every 4 feet. Jmo. cn

Im gonna go with 6,000 watts for the room. Cant wait to get everything set up. Only got 2000 watts in their now so still got alot of shit to buy. its filled up with Black widow, querkle, kandy kush for now. But definetly gonna put some more genetics in their too. BOG is at the top of my list.
