New Colorado Marijuana (Effects of the vote)

-The Washington amendment is completely different. You can still be charged with a felony for passing a joint.
-It does not go into effect on January 1st, it goes into effect when the governor signs it. By law that should be within 30 days of the vote.
-You do not have to be a citizen to possess or purchase marijuana in CO under amendment 64.
