It's more than likely 1-2 bad apples in the group that are encouraging this behavior
I know growing up there was more than one fucked up neighbor kid on the street.
Kid's/schools now a days are mostly very tolerant.
Unless some racist psychological pandemic is happening.

We spend so much time outdoors that t.v. just isn't that important. The kids would rather be down at the river hunting crawdads than sitting in front of a glowing box. We keep the little shits busy.

Ik what you mean my sister is 16 and she has partys at our house with like 10 or 15 friends everyonce and awhile and it doesnt bother me they clean up the next day and its all good i just chill in my room smokin and shit then the last party some kid threw up all over and shit and they like broke glasses in the kitchen then everyone left then i went into the kitchen the next morning and i guess two stayed and they were tryin to make pancakes and spilt the batter everywhere then left like wtf... last party shes havin forsure

my kids watch shows... movies... things i select or we pick out together... movies I watched as a kid. The watch educational tv shows too. I actually like the sprout channel a good bit. Yes, parents and education and government politics and capitalist/lobbyist/marketing/banking/etc etc interests all trying to twist and pull and manipulate the kids... the way society and our monetary system is set up has a good deal to do with it as well. In many indigenous cultures, people of high moral character were idolized and good deeds and hard work were rewarded and mattered to the community and individual.

I notice stupid kids like that too. I've also noticed more mature kids than when I was their age. I wonder what influences they had to make them so calm and sharp yet still able to have fun, good parenting I guess. Sure as hell wasnt many kids like them when I was their age.

Parents could be to blame, but imo I think it's society that's fucked up the youth. Think about it, everything is materialistic nowadays. No one cares about living justly, or maintaining peace. Our world is a rat race with dog eat dog mentalitys. That's not the way it should be but thats the world we live in

Agreed Brizzy. Kids today have grown up on computers and put everything up on youtube. GD kids abusing elderly people so they can post it later. Kids provoking teachers until they lose their cool so they can post it later. We have taken away all discipline and accountability. Kids are running the show and they know it. Video games have ruined a generation and the games are only getting better. Our future looks bleak.

We've had this discussion regarding discipline and whether or not corporal punishment is necessary.

The problem isn't lack of discipline. Kids are so inherently corrupt that discipline is needed, which is sad. A child should avoid malicious behavior out of inner conviction, not fear of punishment.


Even still, a good kid with morals should be just as shaken by being yelled at by authority figures as being threatened with violence. My parents are violent with eachother but it doesn't even need to get to that stage with me. I'm 20 and cry when my Ma yells at me for making a mistake.

Where I come from all the kids mixed no problem. Black, white & Asian would hang around together. Here in (International?) Barcelona they seem to hang in their own communities. I see groups of phillipinos, Indians, Chinese, Moroccan, S. American and Spanish etc that all hang within their own ethnicity. Wonder what it's like in school here ? Looks like the kids are racist OR they're only allowed out with their family and cousins!!
