Plant getting worse: yellowing leaves

Hey,

So i posted a thread because my plant leaves are yellowing and getting brown tips. People thought it was a pH problem so i ordered a pH indicator, but the pH is 7; completely neutral. the soil is miracle grow which has nutrients in already, the leaves were turning yellow after a few weeks watering with plain mineral water, added a little bit of Baby Bio NPK to the watering and no change. This was when i posted the first thread.

There is stem rot which i am slowly fixing with 9% hydrogen peroxide to kill the fungus... although might change to an actual fungicide. But the plant looks perfectly healthy other than the yellowing leaves. I keep the light around 2 inches away from the plant, is it burning/bleaching it maybe? but i was told 2 inches is fine.

Can anyone give any advice on what's wrong?

Thanks

How old is it?
I don't think it's the soil, though I don't think you should have fed unless it's a month old or so.
I have no problem with starting seeds in MG soil, in fact, the one I have going right now, I started feeding when it was less than 25 days old, and that's even using MG perlite that also says it has nutes in it.
I would say quit with the mineral water and just use tap water though.
Try and get down a little closer to 6.5-6.7

Why would you add any nutrient at all to soil that is known to be generally too loaded with nutrients to be really good for growing pot?

I agree that the soil is prob hot .... since you got a ph meter now try testing the run off water and see what it reads.
