Guys!! Dont worry about gun control!

it costs more to go to the store and buy a gun than it does to steal your mom's guns. having to go buy one is a deterrent simply because they cost money.
If the person plans on blowing their head off at the end of the party, why is money a deterrent?

because unemployed, live-at-home-with-mommy adam lanzas don't generally have the couple hundred bucks it takes to buy the cheapest gun at cabellas.

in arizona, they (lawyers) fought for stiffer and stiffer DUI laws (which they would then take advantage of by defending those caught).

they cut DUI fatalities in half, simply with stiffer laws (deterrents).

prohibition not needed, common sense and stiff penalties for irresponsible practices cut the number of deaths at the hands of drunk drivers in half.

if you could cut in half the number of executed kindergarteners with common sense legislated, wouldn't you?
Do you know what common sense means? You either have it or you don't.

You can't legislate common sense.

I wouldn't think that a guy in his situation would mind if he robbed an elderly person, or did a home invasion. With nothing to live for, I would think that a person in his situation wouldn't mind committing a felony to raise money to buy some guns.

you absolutely can legislate common sense. we've done it.

you gonna cry in your coffee?
I once saw an old lady get hit by a bus. They should have legislated that old people not walk in front of a bus. Granny might still be with us, if only someone legislated that people look both ways 10 times before crossing the street, eh?

and that would increase the chance that he is institutionalized before he can even buy a gun. it's deterrent.

it's just like the guys that blow themselves up while trying to build a bomb.

you're just making my point for me now.

are you so stupid as to think every bad thing in the world can be avoided? because only your dumb ass seems to be barking up that tree.

my position is that common sense measures can and have prevented or mitigated such massacres.

I'm being sarcastic towards the people who think that 'bans' and 'legislation' designed "for our own good and well being" are the cure for everything.

Fuck it...let's ban everything!

when did i say ban everything?

i suppose when you get as desperate as you are, mounting a strawman and diving in balls deep might not sound like the worst idea ever.

you look at a "gun free zone" as an invitation to massacre kindergarteners, and i'm the scary person?

i don't care where your guns are, but keep them locked away from your mentally ill child so that mine is not murdered execution style due to your incompetence and recklessness.

i'm sure president pawl will keep your guns safe. oh, wait...
I don't have any children. Mentally ill people as demonstrated time and time again view "gun free zone" as an open invitation to shoot you up. They know there will be nothing to counter it.

there's a good case for calling you mentally ill based on the rawn pawl fan club shit you have going on and the irrational hatred of black people.

With President Ron Paul, at least I'd get turtle fucking tips. With King Choomboy, if he catches me with a joint, I have to consider my soap lost if I drop it.

like i said, locking up your gun when not in use or being carried would have prevented the oregon mall shooter, not sure what kind of safe mama lanza had but she would probably be the first to say that it wasn't safe enough.

ya know, if her son hadn't blown her head off with her own gun.
All I know about the mall shooter is that he seems to have used an AR. I don't know from where he got it. cn

All I know is this frenzy is making alot of money for the doomsday preppers who bought a shit ton of ar's and high capacity magazines. Check ebay 30 rd clips are going 10 times higher than they were a month ago. I went out and bought 6 ar's the day after the shooting, after the 1994 ban they doubled and some trippled in value, but if you can find high capacity clips on the cheap you can make some cash.
