Are there any models on here? Such as clothes models for catalogues for stores such as sears, kohl's, walmart, or modeling such as that?
 
yeah, thats what Im talking about. Im looking into maybe becomeing a male model for a department store. You know how you see those ads of pictures of people wearing clothes that the stores sell.

wondering if anyone knew anything about it, looking for someone who has experiance with that profession.
 
Yeah, I had my go at it.. Kinda fun you get free shit and paid.. It is hit or miss tho, and you neeeed to go through modeling agencies to get those higher paying and higher exposure jobs.. These modeling agencies can be real expensive tho, and getting head shots can be too.. Basically you gotta be pretty, and not just on your own accord. I stopped jr year of college, when I got my pro card for mx and decided spending time on the track was wy more enjoyable than going tanning and having people put make up on you.

You can meet female models very easily tho, do some networking while on the shoot.. Or handing out flyers or what ever gig you get

yeah I have read about the modeling agencies...how they want you to pay megabucks for "training". I cant afford that. Shit im straight with making even 10 bucks an hour if I dont have to pay for nething. just to get some extra cash. its either that or work at popcopy.....LMAO

Then yeah if it's not for a career move then you really need to just approach the stores and demonstrate value, I did a lot of handing out of coupons or letting people know about sales... Basically a bunch of walking around malls and the streets of Boston telling someone about something... You just marketing yourself as approachable or someone that people could relate to or would want to
 
i rather just get my pic taken and not do much at all and get paid...modeling seems cool. Plus, i mean shit, your a model.
 
Yeah those are good gigs.. You get those with an agency or at least some prior work so the employees knows that the general public approves of your look.. There is a lot of politics believe it or not it's like high school except the guys are all cunts and the girls are dicks
 
Yeah I'm an ex pro male model, and I get more ass than a toilet seat hahhaha It's fun while it lasted but in the long run it ruins your sole.. I just stick to the track now, trying to get some more of those monster energy girls.. I still think of the first one
 
God damnit that was my 420 post and I ruined it on a pompous comment like that about male modeling fml
