HOnestly since there isn't very man people here, I'd go ask on one of the bigger threads. I've given you my opinions on it, and observations from watching others grow on here for the last several years.

Perpetual is when you are harvesting regularly (weekly/bi weekly) and replacing harvested plants with pre vegged ones. You will have many plants in various stages of bloom at the same time. So you have a "perpetual" Harvest. Tried it, Hella confusing, had shit spread everywhere and had to mix 4 different nutes each watering.

Don't give up dude? You just started. Most threads die a horrible death with 0 replies. lol you have some reputable growers visiting, don't scare them away.Well not many people are participating in this thread so I think I'm gonna shut it down.

Lol and as far as the class goes well how about you just journal it and see how much you can learn. Quitting certainly won't teach you as much as you should have already learned.

That is what I was thinking.
Each set has different requirements and mixing your feed would be a pain in the ass.
My setup is going to run a little differently.
Well anyways, out of the 11 seeds I germed and sprouted 7 have broken out of the rockwool.
I dont know if you can see in the pictures, but the ones that havent broke completely out are bent and on their way out.
They are under a 4ft 4bulb t5 right now.
Tomorrow ill be brewing up some of my soil ill be sure to post pics and let you know how I get things started.
I do my veg soil recipe a little different then my flower one.
Youll be seeing that later
Right now, just waiting on the roots to bust out of the rockwool and then im going to be putting em in red cups.

I used 5 gallon pots on my last grow but I have decided to use three gallon pots this time.
Which is a plus for me cause i get to go to the hydrostore and drool all over the merchandise.
Even though most of its "snake" piss.
Im going to be taking clones from the healthiest mother and vegging for 3 weeks in a 3 gallon pot while I LST them.
I was debating on topping not to get more main colas but to stunt growth and redirect energy to make the plants bushier.
I still havent decided yet, but im probably just going to experiment with a couple and see how it works out.
Ill be posting pictures of my whole setup within the next day or two.
Want to get it camera ready

Looks like they are getting a little closer.
I was just at the hydro shop today, deffinitly did some drooling. Theres a hand full of things I wish I had to money to buy but to no avail.

That's is very nice. How long of on 12/12 did u run on those? I really love growing og kush and Its been taking me about 9 weeks to finish. I would love to show u what my bud looks like and maybe u can let me know if u think longer or shorter.

Take a picture man! The best way to be sure though is with a 60x+ microscope.
I bought one from radio shack for 12.99
Ill try my best though to give my best opinion.
The flowering time for my OG is supposed to be 55 days.
I have found that to be false. It actually ran me ten weeks before being able to chop down.
They were actually ready at week 9. I do a little trick at the end for a week after i decide they are ready.
So it took me until week 10.

This is my og kush. I really would like to know your trick u do at the end. One day I would like to be able to grow the best og kush in the world. Just kidding. I am trying to get better though.

Looks good! From what i can tell, i'd say they are ready.
I cant tell size so thats a downfall and I cant see the trichomes.
People say to look at the trichomes and when 50% is amber its ready.
I do it a little differently.
I like to tender the harvest time in accordance with the strains effects.
Its all of to you whether you like cbd rich or thc rich strains.
CBD and CBN control body highs and THC is the head high effect.
I have noticed though that if a strain is meant to be indica(body high) it doesnt matter the amount of CBD or CBN, that strain will produce body high effect as long as it is THC rich.
But who knows..

Iam also finding that og kush is a lower yielding plant then others I've ran. Smaller buds too.
What has been your experience with that. Like do u get huge colas or a lot of like golf ball sized nugs?

I only get golf ball nugs indoor with og (larry,diablo,bubba,pre98 bubba,oaksterdam) but platinum og grew some fat corn cobb looking monsters indoors. Oaksterdam og is the best performer for outdoor I have found so far. grew some last summer and they were like arm size colas. I have pics if you don't mind me dumping outdoor pics on your thread?
