Anybody? Stranger than Fiction. Seeds Found in Bag of Organic Rice from CA

I buy Organic Brown Rice in 2 pound bags. Once I open, I transfer the rest to a quart plastic container.

This morning I was making some rice. Light was from kitchen window, so kinda dark by the stove. I added the water and some coconut oil then stirred.

Something darkish floated to the top. I got out my small strainer and captured 4 dark objects, which turned out to be mj seeds. I quickly dried them, then investigated to see whether there were any more seeds in the container. I found one more on the top.

Considering this is a certified organic farm located in Richvale, CA, any idea what seeds I may have been 'gifted'?

I doubt they are MJ or hemp seeds. I sometimes see them in brown rice. One of the reasons I dont like brown rice, you can break a tooth on that shit sometimes.

i'm sure hemp grows wild around some of the rice fields in southern us. it does further up the mississippi.

Lundberg's is growing pot on the back 40... Nah, I used to drive rice trucks in richvale, I really doubt that pot seeds got into your rice, unless one of the vatos at the dryer dropped a handfull in with an incoming load.

Thanks guys.

They are mos def mj/hemp seeds.

I called Lundburg Farms, as rice grows in patties, whereas mmj does not. They are not aware of any hemp farms nearby, so... who knows how they got in the bag. Vato lol

I'll have to grow them out to find out if it's some good shit, or just hemp, but odds are looking good that it is not hemp.

Considering Richvale is a fertile, organic area I could have something AWESOME. I'll be germing some known strains next new moon, I will pop these too

People do grow along the canals out there, i just don't know how the seeds got from the canal to the bankout, to the trucks, to the dryers.

Well get crackin' :) and let us know what you get. That's really the only way to find out. I hope you found something great. But my guess would be ditchweed (hope I'm wrong).

Hope you're wrong, too. But ditch weed in an fertile organic area that also grows fruit and veggies, could be good- awesome shit.

And there were only 5 seeds, also making me think they are special

I bet you a worker was looking at a fresh bud and the seeds fell out into the bin or something simple like that. They probably know the area best.

My curiosity is killing me

I will probably soak them in the next few days

Forgot to mention when I called Lundgrun, a woman took my call. She asked if I was upset and wanted to lodge a complaint. ''

I laughingly said No, and she laughed too.

Alas, I didn't have the presence of mind to say I was just hopin you might know what strain it is

Due to the drying info, which I was not aware of, I decided to get it over with and popped the seeds in water this morning. We'll know soon enough
