You seem to think the Nazis invaded Jewland to kill the jews. The citizens of these countries were by law disarmed, not just Jewish people. The Third Reich could not play without disarming.
If cops pulled that here they would get shot. In NY they'd have to reload a lot more but they would still get shot. Hell Buck, even you might swing an axe at one when they break down your door, take your food and livestock "for the cause" and haul off your next door neighbor to the gas chamber.
