Apocalyptic Blueberry

Day 30 for the 1st and day 23 for the 2nd.
I've LSTed again the 1st one, about 4 new tiedowns. The 2nd one looks well after the first LST, some new secondary are starting to develop.
The 1st one has couple of spots on the leaves, don't know what they are. Nutrient burn?(I didn't give any nutrients so far) some deficiency?! The spots are turning into rust, and they are on the lower leaves. Now I know that the blueberry is a complicated strain and very nasty personality and very picky on her water and soil. But still I wouldn't want any further new leaf problems. I'll post some pics later on this evening and until then I'll have the result of the LST as well.

i doubt you have a deficiency with your soil and knowing that the BB is ultra sensitive to nutrients. prob just minor burn and i wouldnt stress over it too much.

i have yet to grow a single plant that didnt have some of the leaves discolor at some point in time

noticed a couple of leaves from the bottom, not only the big fan leaves, they have black tips. What could indicate this? pH to high? or humidity to high? humidity is around 50+ constant, the pH is around 7.5...I got my pH down juice but before giving any, I want to find your opinion about this. I will put some pics on once the light will be on in couple of hours.

can it be phosphorus deficit? it's one of this things...phosphorus deficit, humidity level to high or some pH problem.

Day 31 for the 1st and 24th for the second
The black tips I was telling you about transformed into brown/rust like. Please please advice what this is and how to correct. I took some pics. Today I will need to water the 1st one, but I'll wait until you'll advice. If it needs anything in the water to be able to give it today.

also, since this is my first LST, can I ask, what's the story when I'll switch to 12/12? For the flowering I will change the pot into a 15 liters one, so I will need to untie the LST's. When changing the pot, should I LST it again in the same places and let it like that in flowering?

Untie the LST and tie it back down Perk. Won't hurt! Before I was able to do the minor "lollipopping" that I have, I had to untie ALL my plants just to water them....
But now I've got it cleared out under the canopy enough work around my ties.

And when you LST them again, It's ALL ON YOU where you wanna tie them. They'll start growing upwards withing a day or two no matter how you tie them.
Just not too tight. I've LST in the same place some times, and had to move my ties a lot to pull branches back down over and over again!
Still pulling branches down the 1st week into flowering!

We'll see how this helps my plant structure in the end!
Good luck bro..

And as far as the black tips...Check your soil PH...I can't say that you soil will be able to effectively managed it's own PH so made start there...
I'll have a look around as to what I can find out.
Regardless of the minor probs...Everything still looks straight!:joint:

thank you for the reply man, I have the pH down juice so I could use it. I found a different brand of still water and it has a pH of 6.2 so I will use that from now on. Till now I was using a 7.5 pH water...so I might give this new water a chance to see how it goes and if the problem persists, I will use the pH down juice.

Hey perk, i didnt know you had a thread going sorry, id have been here already. I was looking at your pics of the problem and i have some thoughts. It kind of looks like your getting a little leaf claw going on. Sorry i havent read the whole thread but what and how much are you feeding them at? Another reason for claw and leaf blemishes like those in my expirience is wind burn. Just some thoughts. They might be dead wrong but i figured id try and help. Happy sunday bro :)

Hi Ninjabowler, thanks for dropping by. I am not feeding them anything at the moment. They are blueberries in plargon soil and I am trying to keep them as organic as possible. From what I've learned the blueberry is a fussy strain and picky at her food. Wind burns in the closet? I have a small fan blowing on them...and the spots, some of them were black at the beginning.
Happy Sun's Day to you too man! glad to have you around!

7.5 is up there Perk! Wayy up there. I teeter just below and around 7(6.8-6.9) and feel I could go lower...
Cannabis don't like a PH over 7 really. But make sure you know your PH before you adjust it one way or the other.
There's also natural ways to raise and lower the PH of your soil.
Ive read that adding EWCs or compost bring the soil closer to neutral. And if you add some Peat over your mix it'll drop the PH...

Find that PH first! That'll point you to a list of things that could be wrong.

It's said tho, with a good soil...The PH will take care of itself.
I thought I had a K def....So I checked my PH and saw that it couldn't have been that.
Around 7.5 you get a SERIOUS DROP OFF in some of the trace element availabilty.

Hopefully you figure it out soon...I'll be around bro. Good luck.

Also I know I keep hitting you with advise but I'm not a pro bra..But I'm wittier than the average and I'm excellent learner...
In a few years I'll consider myself a pro...Lets say once I've done everything once with this plant haha
And yeah read blueberry is VERY fussy hA

Yes, thats exactly how, stationary fan. Its a beast so i cant really turn it down low enough and they want 47 bucks a piece for the ocilating fans i want... x 2, FML! Im pretty sure it didnt affect any buds, just a handfull of fan leaves so whatever, ill wait till summer when the fans are cheaper. My inline has more cfm than i need so my airflows good, its just in there because im scared of powdery mildew from high humidity. Its worked so far. Damn good eye though, you saw right through that leaf :)

My stem strength regime consists of a heavy fan constantly blowing from seedling on.

so guys, are we all on the same diagnose? I have this type of pH meter View attachment 2488511and it's indicating all the time between 7 and 8 even if I'm inserting it into soil or water with pH of 6.2... I think it's full of bullshit. So I don't know what's my pH... Question is does my leaves look like there is a pH problem? or something else? I'll try to find another pH meter which most likely will cost me between 50-100 euro :-( . I had a soil pH tester with some plastic bottle and I was putting some juice in it and it was supposed to chance color, but that was crap as well, so don't know what to do. Does it look like a pH problem? or is it some Ca/Mg deficit or something else? Please advice
