And as far as the fan leaf thread goes haha, the largest seedling pictured.....I wacked all the fan leaves on one side and tied it over...
I'll be experimenting in my own ways haha...So far doesn't look like that seedling is losing...In fact it's looking like quite the opposite.

Lol I just killed a man! I sprouted two bagseed(out of 6 seeds) recently and they have both hit puberty haha.
I got 1 gorgeous lass and one dead lad outta the two there were.
Looks like I'm in for some mystery smoke tho!

Recently got some new lighting as well and my seedlings LOVE it!

All growing healthily in some Fox Farm Ocean Forest! Tweaked a little w/ my touch.

That empty grow bag is the product of guy pulling his balls out around my girls haha

LOL!!! You murderer.....it was for the best budski, no worries :)

Your remaining girls are looking so fantastic!! You must be a proud papa! Leaves look like your giving just the right amounts of everything :)

Yeah, out of the 2 I have the one I pinched a whole bunch of leaves off of, seems to be only producing even more leaves....faster, and bigger. No adverse effects here so far!

Cheers Cali :leaf:

I'm thinking I'm gonna do something different with each of the seedlings, and leave 1 of the 5 untouched just to see what everything looks like ya know?
A lil' experimenting! I've got 3 White Widow seedlings, 4 including my largest plan in all, so I figure I'll just leave one of those be....and see what happens :joint:

Yes sir! Didn't want him bust a nut lol and ruin everything that I worked so hard to build haha. Buddy had to GO!
And the bag seed remaining is just looking so damn good haha. It looks fake when I'm looking at it..As if it's all air brushed up haha.
I bet is gonna be some nice smoke.
I'm growing that Bubba Kush next up chief! I'm trying to see you do WORK :joint:

i had an mystery bean I went 12/12 with day 1. I didn't ever touch her, and she was about 3' tall and gave me well over a zip under CFL only ;) Was thinking about squeezing 20 auto's in my closet next and just scrogging....see how much I can get! Maybe a lower rider...Now that I know how to control the canopy by LSTin...lol! So far 5.4zips is my highest yield in the closet without an LST!

Fucking aye Cali! 5.4zips would make me happy! I'm hoping I shock the shizz outta myself and end up with like 1/2lb between my "big three".
And I could imagine! Usually what I get to smoke on from my buddy is bomb! I haven't had anything that wasn't nice smoke in a few years now lol!
Lucky me!

And as far as scrogging a bunch of autos, that sounds like a plan for sure.
I was thinking that the next time I do run autos, I'll run them 20/4 start to finish with LED and CFL to conserve on cost.
I'm good for this year tho haha! I've got 13 seeds. 10 different strains! 6 are kush or crossed with OG haha. I'm a Kush fan for sure haha

I don't know if you've read this on my thread yet or I've said it to you, but you learn about the work AUXIN. It's basically the main growth hormone and in manipulating the canopy, the main goal is to constantly redirect that flow of auxins.
Understanding that helped me grasp the whole LST, top and FIM thing a lot better, so maybe it'll help you :joint:

Kush man huh, I enjoyed them for a bit but I come to find that I really don't prefer the tight bud structure due to the inconsistencies of rolling it sometimes I get it right sometimes, sometimes not also you use more weed at a faster rate being that its solid, I like the semi airy not fluffy but still sticky not rock hard but crispy open weed you know the one when you get a zip of it damn nere fills the whole sandwich bag and not like the rock hard nugs where a zip fills just the corner leaving you thinking "damn is this a zip?" type of bud you know?

Went ahead with some "pot art" haha!
Made some cuts to the second gen of seedlings.
im gonna do something different with 4 and leave one be.

image.jpg I hacked all the fans leaves off on one side and tied the main stem horizontal.
I dont anticipate having to cut anymore leaves off and I plan on circling the pot with this gorgeous bag seed!
image.jpgPreformed a F.I.M cut on 1 of my 3 white widows. I would be a fool not to do it again based on the looks of my flowering white widow! A F.I.M cut is attempting to remove 80%(approx.) of the apical chute only. Results are random but could result in 8 new bud sites! The F.I.M cut def. helps with height control as well. For the rest of the week(could be less) she should be turning into a bush rather than growing upward.
Look at my flowering White Widow to see what one F.I.M cut can't do for ya!
image.jpgTo appease haha we'll call this Uncle Bens Topping Method. I did learn it from Uncle Ben here at RIU. But basically I allowed my Critical Jack to gain some foilage(had like 7 nodes), and then I topped it just above the 2nd TRUE node. Apparently this is of the UTMOST importance as the plants outcome differs depending on where you make the cut. You can already see four flower sites there, so these should become dominant if I did it right, and I won't have to touch it again
image.jpgAnd I know it'll prolly die but this is the top of my Critical Jack haha. I thought F it why not just spray it down and sit it there...
sure it'll prolly die haha but MAYBE....JUST MAYBE it'll root. Didn't use any cloning substance, just cut the bottom of the plant up and sat it there.

As for the other seedlings, nothing changed for them. :joint:

nice bro... and I doubt that cutting will die. just keep on it and she will start rooting.

anyways, very solid journal. love following it. hardly post in it, but always watching. keep on keeping on bongsmilie

One thing that would have helped to have it to root is to peel some of the outer layer of the stem off at the bottom instead of relying only on the thickness of the stem you increase water intake substantially while increasing her chance to survive by opening up more raw plant flesh to drink

When I said I "cut the bottom up" that's what I meant lol. Pardon my slang and in correct wording haha!
I didn't put much attention into the detail tho...If it dies I think I'lmm move the one in the solo cup up, so it's a win win haha!
Aprreaciate ya looking out for me lad :joint:

Oh yeahh and I just like strong weed me. Don't matter the consistency of it haha. I just need it to be POTENT.....Like yelling at me LOUD haha

image.jpgCutting 2.0. Didn't think to much about putting any effort into the cutting, but seems you guys thinks its possible more than I did, so I put in little more effort. Packed it in a little cozier and clipped the fan leaves
image.jpgMy ACT rig. I told you lol. A 10 gal fish tank pump and a gallon jug.

I gotta water the big three tomorrow, so I start the tea the day before. Give a good 24 hrs to brew.
This mix is a first.
I used 1 tablespoon of molasses as food for the bennies being multiplied in the teas.
2 teaspoons of Hi P Bat Guano as the plants are gonna use P more these days.
1 teaspoon of Neptunes Harvest Liquish Fish, which is good for the bacteria count and N and P
2 teaspoons of Algamin Kelp Meal, which is good for the fungi count.

I forgot to add that I mix the tea down 1:1 with water and water by the half gallon.
I give a half gal of water and 45 mins to an hour later I give the 1/2gal tea mix.
This way I split the tea up three ways, and have a corner left over to water my soil with.

Usually I'd add EWCs or soil but this time I skipped it just for some variation if anything.
I used more bat guano and kelp meal than I have previously as well..
Just trying to see how the plant respond to different things.
Based on what I've learned, nothing should hurt your soil eco, as long as you don't over do it.
Were trying to multiply bacteria and fungi from what I've learned, and different amendments add either or to the equation.

Im also gonna add 3 teaspoons mycos to each big plant I have. I didn't have any on hand initially so I didn't get a chance to treat the root zone.
But mycos are said to free up P in the soil ecosystem, which is what we need during flowering,
Nutes also travel the length of a fungi strand on the rootball, but are isolated within' bacteria and don't move or "travel" as we'll.
Cannabis likes a bacterially dominated soil anyways, and EWCs among all things help with that.
I guess it explains why most soils are so heavily amended with them...I'm not sure, I'm just rambling..

And with all I've said, if any body catches anything, call it out so we can get it right.
I'm speaking for my POV. The way that I've comprehended things..

One thing I know for sure is that I got a lot of learning to do lol.
I'm just saying anybody taking the time to read this ish I'm posting haha deserves to know what I think I know :joint:
