You basically have my planned setup for when I move. been skimming through it and very nice. I started with one 150 then got another and led and then moved to 600 but still use the 150s. Very good lights for the money.

Haha yep. I've been on the gradual upgrade plan haha. After this harvest I'll reboot and revamp again!
Good luck with your future plans lad! And cheers for dropping by :leaf:

Went ahead with some "pot art" haha!
Made some cuts to the second gen of seedlings.
im gonna do something different with 4 and leave one be.

View attachment 2498548 I hacked all the fans leaves off on one side and tied the main stem horizontal.
I dont anticipate having to cut anymore leaves off and I plan on circling the pot with this gorgeous bag seed!
View attachment 2498547Preformed a F.I.M cut on 1 of my 3 white widows. I would be a fool not to do it again based on the looks of my flowering white widow! A F.I.M cut is attempting to remove 80%(approx.) of the apical chute only. Results are random but could result in 8 new bud sites! The F.I.M cut def. helps with height control as well. For the rest of the week(could be less) she should be turning into a bush rather than growing upward.
Look at my flowering White Widow to see what one F.I.M cut can't do for ya!
View attachment 2498546To appease haha we'll call this Uncle Bens Topping Method. I did learn it from Uncle Ben here at RIU. But basically I allowed my Critical Jack to gain some foilage(had like 7 nodes), and then I topped it just above the 2nd TRUE node. Apparently this is of the UTMOST importance as the plants outcome differs depending on where you make the cut. You can already see four flower sites there, so these should become dominant if I did it right, and I won't have to touch it again
View attachment 2498549And I know it'll prolly die but this is the top of my Critical Jack haha. I thought F it why not just spray it down and sit it there...
sure it'll prolly die haha but MAYBE....JUST MAYBE it'll root. Didn't use any cloning substance, just cut the bottom of the plant up and sat it there.

As for the other seedlings, nothing changed for them. :joint:

love this vibe, excited for you my internet homie:weed:.

Np mate, when my move comes at the end of the year I plan on using the dual 150s as a flower tent for a side breeding project just throw like 2 females in there with a male. basically a pollen tent.

Cover the floor with some sort of reflective material, be it flat white or Mylar.
Def. gonna take advantage of the tip and make myself a Mylar floor here soon :joint:

Made some card board Mylar floors 4 the lasses and made a few more reflectors that I've stashed here and there! Pics later!
Just trying to focus as much light as I can on the girls without roasting them. I've read that bud density is managable via light intensity, so until I'm convinced otherwise I'll be CRAMMING and keeping my lights as close as I possibly can.

I'm using these for the Mylar -> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GCRWCG/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i01
Bought 2 of these packs back in November and after building like 4 different grow spaces, I still have 5 or 6 packs left over.

I used to think it was the best deal around town...I mean...It it's a lot of Mylar, which is good, but I feel like these specific mylar blankets add to the heat in the grow space, by doing what it's meant to do, which is retain some heat and reflect some rays..
If you got good air circulation and you've got your temps under control, you may not notice a thing...
I feel like adding all the mylar reflectors into my grow space has brought the temps up a couple degrees, but I can't blame it totally on the mylar due to the fact that one of the reflectors I've made is somewhat obstructing the stream of cool air from the fan to the lights.
So....I'd still reccomend buying it if you want a cheap solution for Mylar, BUT i'd advise taking caution as the heat might rise a degree or two.

Reflective material,Lights as close as possible, with good Temps and Circulation.
You should have budsites, or I do at 2-3 weeks strain dependent.

You seem to be doing a excellent JOB!

Soooo...

On this day, 2 weeks ago I flipped my lights back from 18/6 to 12/12 to induce flowering!
On the day that I switched to 12/12 I had some pistils on each plant, but nothing indicative of the actual bud!
2 weeks later I see the beginning of the end!

My plants are STILL stretching, so I'll tie them down again tomorrow.
I added some more 5k and 65k CFLs to help out with the stretch and the mixing of the color spectrum.
-I have a total of 2 105w CFLs & 22 23w CFLs hanging in between my 2 150w HPSs, and I have added 2 blue CFLs as side lighting between the HPS's.

I also treated the big three with mycos today, so we'll see if anything changes abruptly!
Anddddd oh yeah, the addition of all the extra Mylar reflectors!

2 weeks into flowering and all GREEN everything!

"Auto-flowering" Nirvana Bubblicious on 12/12.
Didn't have any buds 14 days ago and now it's the most budded up of the three.
It has stretched and caught up with the others as well. Kinda musky. Smell no issue.
This plant has been F.I.M'd once and LST'd. I also accidentally broke its main stem maybe a month ago, but that has COMPLETELY healed up. Anxious to see how this performs on 12/12 all the way thru...
2 weeks in, it's bud are the most pronounced of the 3. Has maybe 12-16 tops in all

Seeds Man White Widow.

Nothing except a few pistils two weeks ago, and already looking like a winner. This one has at least 25 tops sitting evenly in the canopy, and at least 5 more tops in the second tier. This thing is a MONSTER.
It was the smallest seedling initially, but the moment I F.I.M'd it and started LSTing it went crazy! Blew passed the others in growth! I defoliated this lady a little bit and she didn't skip a beat. No probs at all with it and would recommend it for sure! This thing just might shock the hell out of us and put out a substantial amount of flower lol. It's looking that way. This is the biggest bush of the three. Smell is only an issue with lights on at this point. And only my closet stinks...not the apt YET!

Dinafem Blue Widow.
Same story here..Nothin but a few pistils a couple weeks ago, but coming on nicely.
Its stretched hasn't been legendary as I expected, but I'm holding my breathe for the next couple weeks.
Ive seen these things stretch like they been driving for days and haven't stopped lol. It's turn into a nice little bush also! I F.I.M'd this plant twice and LST'd it. I also broke its main stem while LSTing...With my heavy ass noob hands smh. Also worked some defoliation in on this lass. Her canopy has so many damn leaves, that there isn't a gap you can see thru to the pot without moving leave. Has at least 20 tops. Maybe 15 in its canopy.

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
My POV. Like I said I added in some CFLs so I have 24 hanging above as well as the two for supplemental side light. Also notice all the DIY reflectors I added to help capture as much light .

image.jpg
My almost evenly leveled canopy between 3 plants! I think one more weeks LST will do the job. Damn I can't wait to harvest already!

But there we go lasses and lads. History. Another week closer we move! 6-8 to go for the first crop! :joint:
