There looking great wish i would have a clf set up like that in the uk
Thanks, its my first legit cfl grow.. Im very happy w/ it compared to the usual HPS/MH combo... waayayyyy cheaper on the bills.

heat does tend to build up.. but its easily managed...

any ideas on the yellow baby?

yea.. thanks, i have looked at that.. it does appear to be similar to nitrogen.. I fed it ferts w/ high N.. and nothing really happened... hmmmm... the others all have the same diet, soil, containers, and similar strains... ill check ph

ph is a lil bit under 7.0.. so like 6.6-6.9.. lil too basic for my liking.. but the plant is actually the tallest one... does not appear to be bc I planted about 3inches of stem under soil when I transplanted

I am seeing about 6 nodes on them. Is this correct? The node spacing is tight (that is good) and they look healthy in general.

Were these pics taken right after a watering? I notice all the leaves appear heavy.

Oh and btw, your plants would receive much more light if the cfls weren't pointing straight down. Most of the light on a cfl comes from the side of the spiral, not the top.

yes right after watering.
They are real tight :) I FIMmed them

as for the side of the cfl.. I thought bout that after I made the light holder... damn.. I could just sit all the power strips on their sides.. that would be an easy upgrade...
I painted the light holder white but the reflectance seems shit.. If I move bulbs to horizontal I will also cover light board with foil or something more reflective..

Right now Im doing 24/7 light.. thinking about 18/6 or 20/4 switch.. bc I want them to be happy and not overworked..

what you think about the light switch??

yea... the already flat white prob looks like poor reflection bc they all are pointing straight down...

how about the time switch?

My signature link "how plants work" has alot of helpful information.

It is important for normal development that the plants receive a regulated day/night cycle. We emphatically recommend that you use an automatic electric timer (about $8). A timer makes gardening much easier, since you don't have to turn the lights on or off each day. The plants won't suffer from irregular hours or your weekend vacations. Set the timer so that the plants get about 16 to 18 hours of light a day, and leave it on this setting until the plants are well grown (three to six months) and you decide to trigger flowering. During the seedling and vegetative stages of growth, the plants may be subjected to light during their night period. During flowering, however, the night period must be completely dark. The plants grow more slowly with less than 16 hours of artificial light a day, and they may flowers prematurely.

This is my CFL Garden at 1 month
Front Seed Pineapple Express Topped and Defoliated (experiment)
Middle row Seed Pineapple Express untouched and Pineapple Diesel Topped
Back row Clones Alien OG, Purple Larry

While your 25 watt bulbs or whatever low wattage bulbs you are using
they can grow they can be better
but IMO dump your 25 watt bulbs and get some 105 Watt or Higher
just keep the plants about 4 inchs from the bulbs
i have these
