You can put a bare 600watt that close, even 9-6 inches. With a cool tube 4-6 inches away is right.
your intake and exhaust are not dedicated, that is passive intake, with no blower correct?. You have a dedicated intake that is cooling the bulb and then that warmed air is blowing into the chamber. Biggest issue i.m.o
that carbon scrubber should be outside the chamber, so no warmed air is in the chamber, another fan to exhaust heat on top would be ideal and
a dedicated intake with blower/fan at the Rez level would help emmensely, giving you a swamp cooler effect
Cooling the Rez now is made more difficult b/c you elliminated a great canopy that was shielding your dwc tub from heat.
your dissolved oxygen at 70 degrees plus is not suitable for good yeilds.
Do you understand now that light travels through the leaf to the ones beneath that appear to be shaded to the naked eye?
