Looks good CC...The humidity will be fine.
Mine gets up to 70% because of my location,
and buds have been coming out perfect based
on my standards for this strain.

Like Ian said, good airflow will rid any chance
of mold...GL with the girls...

One thing I've noticed without getting a
dehumidifier, is raising the temps. It should
lower the humidity some, but other than that
I have just dealt with it, and added more fans.

I checked today and it was up to 80%!? i have no idea why. when i was growing the humidity was always ambiant. 50 to 60%. maybe the heat from the lamp was drying out the space. now, with no lamp it's way up there.

how do i lower it?
heat...turn the light back on or a force air heater...

I thought i heard it was necessary to dry in blackness for thc preservation. is that a myth?

thanks jonny. i will see i have good airflow but maybe i will look into adding a computer fan.
an oscilating fan on the inside would be better... you don't want constant airflow over one spot on the buds... but a moving fan would work great!

as for having the light on, you could use like a cardboard box that fits in that area... just string some lines across the inside of the box with some holes for circulatino at the bottom, and a fan inside... and you'll be good to go with much lower RH

thanks for the help guys.

i have a fan on so air is moving nicely. no mold so far and the humidity has lowered to 60% while they shrink and shrink. i guess it was just the water evaporating out of them that raises the humidity.

i can't believe how much weight they lose. they're less than half their size so far. but the chrystals look shiny and tasty.

3.68 ounces is better then I expected from that little cabinet. This was a very fun experience. Jeorge Cervantes says to aim for .5 grams per wattage lamp used; that would be 125 grams. I fell a little short, but its only my second completed grow.

A first taste of the dry good was very nice but I was not knocked off my ass. Take a bong hit and a background type, mini high creeps up and
up until in about 30secs it's become a top shelf 'head' high. But mellow, all the way.

I don't mean to gush, but it's nice. A truely balanced high. I can't wait till its cured.

***Final Pics***

Here's a comparison of bud weight loss. Before and after drying.

5 piles like this:

Equal 5 gars of curing goodness:

thanks.

not sure how soon, but i'm going to start more WW seedlings and have a pure Indica seedling. Male or female, I'll cross her with my WW.

Hey, i looked, but couldnt find anything on ventilation, very intrested in how you ventilated this cab..
I tied into the a/c line of the adjacent room for my cool air in. And I had a 60 cfm bathroom vent located in the attic above which vented into the attic. You can see the ducts above my cabinet on page 1, I believe.

I recommend, with any strain, to veg for at least 8 weeks. Otherwise, the plant is not mature enough to produce THC up to the potency it is genetically rated for. With LST grows, stick with age to decided when to flower. Height won't work.

Good Luck.

Hey cool, crafty man. Thanks.:joint: i thought i saw computer fans aswell? or were those just blowing air over the top of the plants?
