Im into the CONCENTRATE INDUSTRIES pipes as well but they recirculate absolutely nothing and your still wasting gas and money on gas..
im probly going to buy one in a month or so..

if I had 2000 to spend I would because you know you will eventually get the money back in gas.. even though its cheap 10(120)5X POWER SUPER REFINED cases for $200.00

tami is cool because its good for enviroment with millions of people spraying butane into the air has to add up in a couple hundred years, opposed to someone using the same gas for a few years while losing .01% a month in butane

its why the have the giant set up to make bigger pulls so the added time waiting for gas inst so hardly looked at when comparing your yield..

not at all. might it have been over purged? i do know that over time it'll degrade, but the smell is intense when fresh. i mean really, what is the difference between blasting and using a tami? other than possibly a more pure butane used, reclaiming, there is nothing

is the terpenator the passive system?
No, the Lil Terp is the passive system, just like the Tamisium. All of the Terpenators use both heat, cold and pumps, which allows them to be run with less heat than a passive system (<75F), for maximum carboxylic acid retention, or with the heat cranked up (212F), can extract in a fraction of the time of a passive system.

The manual Mk IA and fully automated Mk II holds about 240 grams and will process it in about 30 minutes wide open, for about a 20/25% yield running prime bud and 10/12% running mixed trim.

The manual Mk IIIA holds about 150 grams and processes it in about 15 minutes wide open.

Looks a bit complicated. Is this a home build unit? or mass produced?

There are several different units pictured there, all individually produced, using machine, welding, and CNC water jet cutting shops for some parts and assembling them at home.

Except for the machined and welded parts, the manual Terpenators can be assembled with simple hand tools. The automated Mk II's are more complicated and include electronics and pneumatics.

I'm looking for a commercial type set up like that mk 111a. But I can't seem to find a price list anywhere on that site, or even a 'contact us' option anywhere.

I'm more interested in something that is turn key, and works well.

If you are refering to the Skunk Pharm Research site, we sell no product, but Specializedformulations.com licensed them and has been selling Mk IIIA kits for just under a grand. You would have to contact them for specifics. The contact button on their site should lead you to an email address, which is eloquentsolution@gmail.com.

The Mk IIIA works very well, but is only available in kit form, to save having to tack a big added charge on the kits for additional liability insurance. I assemble Mk IIIA in less that 30 minutes with a couple wrenches, including pressure testing, as it is easy and a minor issue.

How much can the mkiiia hold product wise? And would you say it is a good kit to buy or go bigger n make my own?

I guess it depends on how much volume you have to run. A Mk IIIA holds about 150 grams of prepared 10 mesh bud material, and runs three flood and soak cycles on it 15 minutes with the heat turned up to maximum, and about twice that at around 75/80F. Since we mostly make decarboxylated oil for sublingual or topical application, we run at around 212F and process about 600 grams an hour, with about a 20/25% oil yield.

The Mk IA and Mk II are both bigger, in that they hold 240grams of material, but cycle about once every 30 minutes, or produce about 480grams per hour. Because their capture chambers are larger, it takes longer to pump them down, so with a larger system, come requirements for a larger pumping system. You could run more than one recovery pump or find a larger pump, and clearly the larger system would put out more product.

They aren't limited to 240 grams either, that was just a handy size for handling and cycle time. With more pump capacity, you could simply go to a 2" column to hold around 390 grams.

I can't find much info at that site either, lol. Did you find the prices there?

Yeah, Specialized Formulations is a patient services organization and selling Mk III's is a small part of their overall business. That is fortunate actually, because they can offer the Mk IIIA at a reasonable price, without depending on it for an income. We picked that arrangement to keep the prices as low as possible, short of building one ones self. I'll suggest that they give the kits more space on their site.

I don't think they list prices because they change with the price of the parts, but last I heard it was between $900 and $1K for all the pieces. That seens like a good deal, as they charge only a modest fee for the cost of modifying the lid and reduction tee, but include all the rest of the parts in the kit at the same price that they are available from Glacier and Paramount.

I do know that demand even without advertizing is hot, and both Glacier and Paramount promply ran out of parts and Specialized Formulation's kit delivery is based on their availability. Alas, I found alternate sources for them, but not at the same low sweetheart prices, so Specialized Formulations is working with their current suppliers to improve their stocking levels.

Demand at Glacier of course, also includes all the folks who are ordering the parts directly from them and building their own Terpenators, which they tell me has also been hot, so they are struggling some keeping up.

If you contact Carla at the eloquentsolution@gmail.com, they will have current pricing. If you are still unable to make contact, let me know and I will help you get their attention.
