And I was at the Hydroponics Shop yesterday and the owner had the bag of white shit on the counter. I asked her what it was and she said “mushrooms, grow them in a 4x4 room for CO2, there’re not the ones to get you high, there for CO2 only”. I haven’t research it yet so I can’t add anything else, other than that.

I doubt that the fungi would influence the CO2 levels that much.. yes they produce CO2 but I would imagine that you breathing on your plants once or twice a day would have more of an influence.

I've read on other sites that people have tried the Exhale bags (Bag of fungi that release CO2) and they only bump up CO2 by about 100-150 ppm. not enough to notice much of a difference with the plants

Wow, with the deal that you got id give up on it too. Thats some good dank for the money. Have you ever grown blue dream before or seen it real life? I havent yet and its always facinated me. Im growing TW right now and im assuming its from around the humbolt area. Mine is a work horse, long ass flower time but holy crap, every time she out does everybody else. Strong and healthy, she can take all the nutes you wanna throw at her, second burst of flowering, a little slow to start flowering, pine mixed with pineapple smell (strange but true), needs to be supported because the branches cant support the buds, purple stems always, not an even grower more of a wild round puff ball of a plant. Most of the people around my area keep a good supply of it around because its so productive. All im sayin is just because it was free dont take her for granted, if its the same train i have youll love her to pieces. I can post some bud pictures if you want later

I pretty much had the same opinion, when she was telling me about it.

I built a CO2 gen out of a RV propane furnace this fall gone by, the lady using it is only on her second propane 20lb tank in a 12x12x8 vented room since then, that’s $22 of propane and the second tank is still 1/2 full. The 15000 btu RV furnace compared to a 15000 btu Commercial gen would have been over a grand. I was allowed in to a junkyard and was told to help myself to whatever I wanted; I walk out with 3 different size systems 5000, 10000, and 15000 btu furnaces with copper tubing, fittings and regulators. We put a CO and propane alarm in the room, for added safety, checked all the fittings with dish soap, if pilot light goes out on the furnace the thermocouple shuts off the gas, and it doesn’t need any electricity to run.

thanks for the kinds words didnt realize my grow journal was held in such high standings with you guys lol.

ill be headed over to the grow tonight. going to give cloning one last go with all fresh clones. i soaked the rapid rooters last time which i think was a mistake. this time im going to just leave em alone as they seem to already have some moisture to them. ill add a small amount of water to the bottom of the tray to keep the RH up and go from there. ....spent over 200 bucks so far on trying ot perfect this cloning technique....wish me luck!!

oh, also feeding, chopping 2 FCJ plants and doing some re arranging tonight. also going to be switching to 12/12 today. pics coming later on.

Thats the green light ive been waiting for k soo, this is my first plant ever but she did pretty good, trainwreck...DWC never phed the water once. Used sensi A+B, calmagic, and superthrive. Thats it thats all. I think shell give me 8 zips

didnt get as many pics as i wanted tonight but heres a couple to hold you over till tomorow when i go over and feed,



didnt do any chopping, going to give them a couple more weeks. dont really know what week they are on but they will finish out thier life directly below the 1k watt. the 6x4 is getting fuller and fuller by the day, today is day 1 of 12/12 and most of these ladies are showing pre flowers already. i feel preflower stretch is going to leave me with a really really full room. i will be doing some training as they stretch to try and keep the entire canopy as even as possible. in 2 weeks ill lollypop and hope for the best....

will have pics of each strain up tomorow just didnt have time tonight and its easier to do when im feeding.

the 2 fruity chronic juice plants i have coming up are just little ones. prob only about 1 ft tall at most. im thinking ill get a solid Oz out of the 2 plants. I knew i was not going to yeild much off them when i put them into flower but i needed to get something flowering or i wouldnt have shit. im running on my last few nugz from last harvest so thsi stuff should come just in time.

my blueberry gum in the DWC is looking well, i forgot to grab a pic but will get one tomorow. rez temps are 18.4C so thats around 64.3F i did just move the DWC unit upstairs into the tent so it doesent have the basement floor to keep it cold anymore so may have to take extra measures to make sure temps stay down.

That's awesome! there is on fan on it then I assume, just passive heat? do you just run the exhaust into your area and then heat the outside? That would be great for my basement!

Matt what are the temps on the basement floor? Cooler temps will slow growth and you have talked before about things being slow, you kind of blamed it on not having CO2, maybe it’s the temp.

I had plants in a cooler 64-65F basement growing tigh tnodes, looking really healthy but when moved to the old lady’s grow room in her upstairs spare bedroom with temps at 75 -78 degrees (root zone) they really started to grow taller faster and take off in all directions. I’m just sayin.
