In all my experience if I let my bud dry til the stem snaps I will have very very little smell, but if I catch it a point where the buds are a bit moist but crispy outside and jar them from there I keep all the smell in the end, also If I harvest to early I lose smell, so if you could put up a nice keeping the smell read from one of your books I would appreciate it, I go to all your links and read them and I am constantly searching for answers to my questions but I just know from personal experience how to keep smells but to help others, what better place than the "hot thread" for people to see and learn from.

I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna do as far as drying them right now.
I'm thinking I'm gonna grab this little portable closet thing from target and dry them within.
I don't have a whole lot of space to work with in a 1br so I gotta think of ways to get shit done.
But yeahhh bro..Knowledge is power. The more you know, the better prepared you are to work.
Its dope being able to communicate w/ so many different ppl and watch what you guys are doing.
I learn a lot of shit here at RIU daily, so I figure the least I can do it pay if forward right?! :joint:

I once fashioned one out of a 3 drawer sterilite storage bin that I scored from the department store. I cut the bottoms out of the drawers and placed window screen in them. Then I cut a 6" circular hole out of the top and caulked an inline 6" duct fan. It worked great, but once I went perpetual and the volume of my harvests went way down it just become clutter lol.

IMO.Its what you put in your plants and the amount,and I do flush Hydro plants.Why because it taste better,and il leave it at tht.Soil plants just a week the last before harvest.I believe in a good proper slow dry,and a Cure.I use a dark cool closet for mine.The worst thing you can do as far as taste is let it dry too fast.

Haha, great minds think alike, I've been a prime member for a cpl years, shopping exactly as you do, with a prepaid card. And I've spent waaaaaay too much money on gardening to the point where I'm giving equipment and nutrients away to my recently legal friends lol. I have enough organic nutrients, amendments, fungis and bacteria to get me through 2 or 3 more full runs of super soil lol.

You've chosen some nice gear. Damn nice find on those 80mm case fans, I paid out the ass from my local radio shack store for those, but they're still working so I shouldn't start complaining. You're going to love the bags too!

Lol that 2 day free shipping is the SHIT right?! And Hell yeah man! That the cool part about buying organic amendments haha! They last for a few grows!
I was looking also into getting some sorta silk screen for trimming bro. What do you think? Or do you think I'd be good over a clean glass table?
And yessir in regards to the smart pots! I didn't like paying $7 per pot even tho thats cheap for smart pots lol. But given the results and recoomendations that I've been given, I had to get them. And the fans will do my BIG ASS drying box some good I'm sure haha.

I do gotta get some aloe tho! Been reading a lot about how much it does for the leaves as I'm fresh off of a serious downloading binge hahah.
