if we take an average of 1rev per 15sec then we would have 4rpm, sounds about right, better than 33rpm on an old record player.Most micro turntables rotate at one cycle per 10-20 seconds.

No, that's what the varied motor [ceiling fan] control comes in, you turn it to the speed you want, 1 turn per minute...those are fucking kickass!!!!
old turntables would spin too fast, I want to say 33rpm is the slowest??? but I like the idea of using some sort of a rheostat switch that would allow me to dial in the perfect rpms.

One halloweenee I put a rubber head, where I poured a couple bottles of ketchup over it... and made it turn 1 RPM....out in my planter where the kids walked up
