My neighbor called the cops

Im I'm orange county, I'm all legal i just don't want to have to worry about the cops coming back so maybe next time I'll let them in and show them my grows
 
Finish the grow, hide your stash somewhere safe. Wait a month before the next grow just to ensure they did not get a warrant. As for your neighbor, fuck up his house.

If I were you I would threaten this prick next door with renting your house out section 8 to a single mom with 7 kids if this asshole keeps crying to the cops.

I would not worry about California cops if you are in your plant count ...I wouldn't let them in though...make em get a warrant...if they do...they will tell this nosy fuck next door you are legal n deal with it.

You're legal doing what you say or you are not. You are not or you would not be here whining. If legal then open the door and ask for the paper. Basically if I were legal I would let them in and hate every minute of it. I'd hate my neighbor even more. But your refusal did nothing but make them want it more. You have now helped make a huge issue out of what would be a minor one - if you are legal.
 
I am legal and have more carbon filters than needed. I don't want my idiot mother in law to smell it when she comes over.
I would never open the door for cops. If they have a warrant, they are coming in. If they do not, tell them to call you.

It seems like everyone ignores the neighbors and it pisses me off. Neighbors tend to be little sheep who cannot mind their own fucking business.
 
I just wanted to come on here and see if they would really do anything about it or get a warrant over just smell, Im worried about being close to a school because I'm worried the cops may be uneducated on the law as they seem to be every time I encounter them, it's not illegal for me to grow near a school but it may be in certain counties, I just think its rediculous I should even have To worry about them coming back with a warrant

Ignoring the neighbors is the best thing you can do with a legal grow, as harley said.. open up the door, and make a joke out of the neighbor. The more you can discredit the many calls of the neighbor for legitimate shit, the more likely you're able to have an attorney pull 911 / police records and say "How many times has the neighbor pulled the police into a situation without any legitimate need in X amount of time? Do you feel that you'd really call this a reliable and/or character witness for anything at all?" Would rip the neighbor to pieces on the stand if it was well-worded, and it got to that point.

I wouldn't worry about it...if you are that concerned then go to the station n tell them your neighbor is nuts....you are legal n don't appreciate this turd calling the police on you for this silly shit.

Dude - it's the DA, not the cops. The cops don't and can't decide who is going down. And if they now come back with a warrant you have to ask how they got it. Smell by your neighbor is not cause for a warrant. The cops don't get a warrant simply because they want one.

If they have suspicions do not help confirm them. And, if arrested, say nothing but your full legal name and state that you have nothing further to say until you speak with a lawyer. They will then lock you up or leave you alone. Being locked up makes people want to say whatever to be set free. Resist that urge and wait for the lawyer.
 
Put the cops on your neighbor... Put some aluminum foil around the back of his electric meter... Its an old trick to keep the electronic meter readers from working. It's also a federal crime and within a month he will get fucked. No need to call, power company usually does their meter checks once a month and when it wont scan from the truck they'll check

I knew one would show. Let's "kick it up a notch" and start this kind of crap. One surveillance camera, one eyewitness - any legality or credibility you might have had just went down the drain with my res change. Not only would you face criminal charges but a civil suit would be sure to follow. Grow up and do what you need to do and don't listen to nitwits like this one above.
