Word up!

Well like I said, glad we could link up bro.
But I'm thinking about trying to move towards the veganic side of things within the next couple grows.
I'm sure you probably know, but if you don't, veganic is pretty much and extreme for of organics and supposedly produces the BEST tasting weed!
Everything I got is pretty much genetically engineered to put one of the ass lol so I figure I'll atone to the taste as I go.

And I'm curious what made you choose blood an bone meal over the guanos?? I would have gone with guanos and left the blood and bones meal out which is why i'm asking?? I would say off whim, that guanos should be the superior fertilized because they're good for more than nutrional value in the soil :joint:

& I'll be up in club 600 soon prettyyyy soon!
Its called LC's Soilless Mix. This is what BurnOne uses for his "super soil".

I think the logic behind using bone meal over guanos in the soil mix is that guanos have greater solubility. Blood meal is is a highly soluble source of N, so immediately available in the mix. As I understand, bone meal is less soluble than guano. Some of the flowering nutrients and calcium are immediately available, and some must be broken down. Hence, the usage of high soluble guanos in teas. Let the plant have the blood meal for immediate N availability, bone meal for a combination of immediate and slower release. Then use flowering teas with guano for the greater solubility and micro organism activity to provide more immediate flowering nutrients while continuing to break down the organics in the soil for availability added nutrients. I usually opt for fish bone meal as opposed to regular bone meal when possible. What I was most surprised about is the amount of powdered lime he recommends, 1 cup per cubic foot of mix. I like to read that, because I feel my mix is light on lime later in flower and I hate giving soluble cal mag to an organic grow.

I can understand why you'd rather stay away from blood and bone meal if you're leaning veganic. Take a closer look at the Ecoscraps product if you're into that, I'm definitely looking to add a bag or two into my mix. 100% veganic, no poo or animal waste.

Very good read,Im sick as chit.Got the flu i guess fnn 30f to 80f is not good,Weather is crazy!!
100p percent on germ all 20,plus a twin.

Beech
Feel better Beech, it got me for a week a cpl weeks back. Eat some edibles if you have some, it made me feel much better as I was stuck in my bed watching tv, sneezing and crying for no reason lol. Best cold experience I've ever had! hahaha

I've done it both ways, and I agree with the author. Defoliation helps to increase quality yields, period. Anyone that suggests otherwise is too afraid to try it lol. As he said, def not for everyone, less experienced growers should get dialed in first, and its advised to only defoliate heavily if the plant is mature and can sustain stress. That said, I do defoliate early in veg to shape the growth and promote top growth under T5's. This guy knows what he's talking about and every new grower should read that! If that was on the forum I would say "Sticky that shit!"

Your mind is like a sponge right now, you just can't fu**ing get enough LOL.

The will be my first harvest and my first real grow. I had a previous grow going before this but I yanked it due to paranoia. They we're a couple of bagseed in Organic Miracle Grow haha. I yanked them that day that they showed preflowers! Boths girls but I had an unexspected visitor and reasons to be weary at the time :joint:

But I scoured the plane for bananas and found 3 more today, but all the one cola so I don't think I have a hermie after all, I think I stressed the autobub enough to pollinate herself. I plucked one seed before I did some reading but there's still one more that I'll leave, hoping it might mature miracurously?!
But she's getting her mandingo on hehe. The wannabe hermie bitch :peace:! She could be the biggest yielder tho man! Lotta long colas.

Cussed my ass out!

God work on the germ rate too boss. I'm on that 100% germ rate swag too haha. For now at least :joint:

Amazing first grow. Its not over yet, but I'd say you've got a smashing success that needs to be celebrated. I always like to toke the strain of plant I'm chopping down too. Now you'll be able to with a nice dried nug of bubblicious to partake in :joint: :blsmoke:

looking awesome m8, all my plants are about that size too. I feel like i want to let them grow taller (instead of using LST) because i have more head room. I really like LST though having all them tops...

I have a blueberry gum right now that didnt take to the LST so i took off the tie the next day and she is about a foot taller than everything else. should be interesting to see. still working on my training tek....im sure i will be for a while.

again great looking grow man :leaf:

Here's some info I got while Google-ing Blood/Bone Meals vs Guanos.

Good thing about organics is that there isn't a wrong way to do it as long as you don't over do it!

We can both get the same results using totally different ferts that serve the same purpose!
I just look to use amendments that serve more than one purpose if possible!
But I gotcha and I'm sure you got it bro :joint:

I'm gonna re-amend the soil that the "big 3" are in and use it again for the next grow! Gonna cop some compost, EWCs, and some more perlite and get her dun!
I figure during that run I'll have time to sharpen on on veganics..All extract, all clean smoke!

A man of few words...But words well spent has spoken :joint:
I know you been following haha but I'm just talking shit because you rarely post(like you let me know a while back)lol!
But thanks bro! It's cool looking at how they've grown becuase I only envision the next grow as I stare at them haha!
I wanna keep my plant a little shorter tho boss! Like Schwags. Check out that Super Cropping Thread. Some nice work posted!
But I figure, if we can keep the plants shorter the light will penetrate everything and we can get dense nugs all the way down!
I almost pulled it off the way I wanted to this go around, but not quite..
My next harvest(currently flowering too) should be a little more like it. I really like the way the plants grow when you top them after the 2nd/3rd node.
I think I'm about to start my work with that foundation for the next run and go from there.
But you got WATTS ON DECK now that I think about it, so height ain't an issue for you huh?!
I'll jump up to the big leagues by the end of all this tho!
Thx for the love bro :joint:

Too true, we love our pewps lol. I could never give up guanos, I buy that shit in economy size lol. I mix in several pounds of guano into my current mix and I love it. But given I'll be doing teas with more frequency than I ever have, I'm going to give LC's technique a shot and keep it exclusively in the tea and as a top dressing. As always, I'll add a few other goodies, innoculants and acids, but for the most part I'm going to try his simple recipe and see how it does. I'll probably start with a bale of pro mix to start and see how the mix/tea combo works for me.

Thanks for those links bro, more good info in there! I peeped your FFOF link. I tried it solo with the FF lineup on my 2nd or third round before I went perpetual and it was ok. You're using it the right way, making your own SS out of it, hell a good grower could turn a pile of backyard sand/topsoil into garden gold lol.
