How long are your extenders PF ?

If you have prime with Amazon they carry the extenders. They have 2 lengths.

They also have the splitters.

Cost a little more but shipping is free and arrives in 2 days.

23.6 "

The flexible part is ~ 3.5" total length 7.5". I think I bought them on ebay. Did not see a size choice. Good to know:clap:

Seems I paid $12-15 for all 6

Anyway, I added one spiltter + 2 extension + 2 @ 6.5w/450 lumen WW- to be sig upgraded once I get to Lowes

Hey PF

When you get a chance tell us exactly how many LED lightbulbs you are using and name brand ...color spectrum ( ww..nw..cw ?) and watts.

Thanks.

PS: Only asking because I know you have changed things as you went along in this grow so now I'm not sure what your led lightbulb set-up is now other than you just added 2 more with the extenders.

Seek and ye shall find. Everything is documents within the thread

OK, I missed your PS: 1 Philips 17w RP (1100 lumens)+ 1 Utilitech 22w (1650 lumens) + 2 @ 6.5w SM- All are 3000K. I have a couple NW (5000K) but mmj doesn't need more than 5-10% blue range. However, more might be strain related

Which bulb is that pictured? Just trying to work out the size of each each LED....17-18 of them?
17 diodes = 6.5w for these bulbs. The 17w Philips and Utilitech 22w are both RP ($20 and $30), barely over $1/w, not that that should define value

LED Tent

Since switching the 2 plants , the shorter is now almost as tall, meaning a 5w difference is meaningful

Going to a much larger tote today. Don't think Tinkerbell will survive that. Anyway, she is so far behind, she will never fit into the schedule

Yesterday, I trimmed a few lower primary leafs + low branches.

Who says leds don't penetrate? The second 2 pics are ~ 8-10" below canopy

HOT5

I am amazed at how many bud sites, but damn, budding seems to be taking forever. Fresh nutes >800ppms been that way for several weeks, thinking to push ~ 1000

LED News, CREE's newest single-die offers 10w ~ 186 @ 1w/25*C/5000K. Built with silicone carbide tech. CRI 80-90, depending on color temp

FUCK

I was sliding my light pole hangers to reposition the fixture better over the tote/plants, and CRASH.

I bought this tent from LED Wholesalers (who does not make the tent). The plastic hangers are worse than rubbish. Having experienced this before I tried to be careful, but the plastic hook fatigues and snaps even when being careful.

They sent me more of the same BS hooks. I heated them in hot water and bent them, but they still fatigue

Lost a few primary leaves and bent the main stalks. They will recover, but are now in shock

Unfortunately, the light crash in question was over your girls

Fortunately, they are alright, though some of the top primary leafs are slightly damaged, and I lost a few other primaries.

I delayed putting them into the larger tote, even though it's not particularly traumatic, the might fall over, and they've had enough trauma for one day

thats sucks glad thier okay, give em time to heal. canbeleieve led bulbs fell over that would have sucked to have broken them

The light weight helped save them. T5 would have smashed them to bits

They are looking pretty good now. I may move them to the new tote near days end- let them adjust over night...

Oh wait. First I need to go tote shopping for an inner rez (smaller tote within the larger). That tote is much less deep, so I put a cheap dollar store stand under it. No need to fill up a hole tote with nutes, but need a tote wide + deep enough for the roots to hang in

Plants are fully recovered. I needed to replace nutes with fresh (~ 600ppm) so, I went ahead and brought in the new tote. I actually had what I needed on hand, which allowed this to happen now.

Sadly, Tinkerbell had to go. I put her in my aero-herb garden, just in case, but it is far from ideal as it sits in my kitchen window. Light is pretty good - southern exposure.

The container inside holds ~ 2.5g, so filled with 2G nutes. First plant pic is in the smaller tote outside the tent, so you can see plants are a healthy vibrant green. As can be seen, lots more room between the 2 plants now.

I will probably flip tomorrow, just to give it one more recovery day

Yeah...i guess thats why he bought the extenders and splitters...maybe double the wattage on what he has with warm whites?

Yep, but I have a ufo 90 R/B 8:1, though I have no idea what percentage is >650nms

Everything I've studied about 660 tells me it is not needed (in most instances), and everything I've studied about WW tells me it's got everything mmj needs to produce sweet and fat nuggz.D id you see StarDust Sailor's SDG? So, putting it to the test, especially since my bulbs are 3000K, so a tad more blue than 2700s.

It will surely simplify grow panels/lighting

And now that CREE has a single-die 10w diode that is stable up to 85*s C well...
