HELP, 2 week old plant

so ive been doing sort of an experimental grow, the plant just turned two weeks old and it looks like it might be developing some problems but im not sure.
the soil im using (witch im sure im gunna get shit for) is a mix of mg organic potting soil, peatmoss and perlite. i choice the organic mg because its not supposed to have ferts in it. the plant is under a 135wt led ufo and ive watered it 1 cup of water every 3 days. and the last watering being 3 days ago. last 2 waterings were with nutes at 1/2 strength in the amount of 1mil per 2liters with a npk of 12-4-8. any thoughts?

IMO add a cfl for white/blue light. LEDs can grow plants well but remember how narrow that spectrum is. Plants use the reds for leaf and flower production and white/blue for stem growth and vertical growth. When I use only led I get plants I feel are too compact and just don't grow the way I like. Perfect for making a bonsai plant tho, looks very funny.

​she wants food at 1/4 strength then work your way up, light needs to be way lower, better still get cfl's as there better

Acually once i opened the door and let some air in they perked back up, and i used to have the light lower but they started to droop. When i looked around the internet for a solution i found that 135to watt leds are too bright to have that close to a young plant. I didnt no their was such a thing as too much light but aparently if their too close on young plants u basickley give them light poisining

Ive never used leds and wanted to see what they could do. Im not against the cfls, i acually have another seedling under one right now. But the hps produce to much heat and i do t want to spend the money for all the cooling and electricity, also i herd cfls sux when its flower time
And i still have to vent with leds but i was thinking of running a tube back into the intake from the outlet, se if i could recycle the air

yes agree add a cfl or a small T5 unit with some nice blues around 400 - 500 nm range.

Im not trying to prove a point or anything, im just trying to see if leds are as good as people say, so far so good i just needed to no what happened to my leaves. I dont no how a led does in veg but its supposed to beat the shit out of hps lights in flowering. And cfls might do a better job in veg but they lack the power to flower unless you use alot of them. And at that point u should just go with a led or hps.
I guess it just depends on what your trying to grow, if your a dealer you probably would want hps because ive herd they can grow more plants with less bulbs. But if your like me and your just growing for your own personal stash, its my understanding leds can produce a better plant. Just not as many

You fell for propaganda. Plain and simple. You read ads and reviews from fan boys. The fact you wrote you heard LEDs kick the shit out of LEDs is why is say this. I have used LEDs, the work somewhat but IMO only when next to a hps and light is shared. Nothing kicks the shit out of hps, at best they try to match up. I have a 600 watt led panel and have used a few ufos.

Thats cool always nice to experiment and see how well leds are working. I'm finding PAR T5 HO in combo with cheap LEDS work out pretty good.

so for all of you who said i should move the light closer, id like to share some pictures with you. this is what happeneds evertime that led gets to close (6-8) inches above the young plant.

not being a jerk... but think of a plant in the spring...do they have red light?? no. you are trying to replicate the natural growth process so...if you are trying to make them grow you need bright daylight. they are reaching for some light. if you are worried about electric $$ then get some cfls. a lot of them.
the "blue" end of the light spectrum. (3500K +)

honestly, these will not survive or thrive under those LEDs. go to Lowes, buy some bright white cfls, wait until they grow up to waist high then put them into flower. use the LEDs if you want, but i would sell them and get a stronger "yellow" (2700k) bulbs to produce buds.

Like i said, not trying to be an asshole, but you need to re-think . light is far more important. :)

i got what your saying, and your right the led i have is based more on flowering. but i cant put it under any thing but the led because its an experiment. i have another under a cfl at the moment and i plan on keeping it their untill its time for flowering, then it goes under the led. i just wanted to see what the led could do in the flowering stage, and it seems to work decently aslong as it doesnt get to close. something about the diodes being to bright. once you move the light away they start reaching up towards it.
