Not just 20k, but the real story is the 5%. Shit, my taxes as a member of society that makes less than the president, have increased more than 5% since he joined office. It is a slap in the face he decides to put himself on a level where his pay cut is still less than a middle class citizen's pay cut.

if this gives you some sort of raging hate boner, take it up with the authors of ORS 475.300, who made no provisions for taxation on the reimbursements for utilities and supplies which i collect.

pretty close, except for the part about 'what i think i do'. i'm just going through the basics from the ground up. apartment repair, maintenance and turnover, all the office paperwork that comes with it, the touring and selling of apartments, the management aspect of employees, and all the other stuff that goes into running an apartment complex.

my favorite part is the maintenance work, which is basically grunt work. i like the physical labor aspect way more than the sitting behind a desk and dealing with paperwork part.
